Appearance Description: Lyra has dark brown long hair that's usually tied up into a high ponytail with bangs that shape around her face, and light brown, unnervingly clear eyes. Personality Description: Lyra is a kind soul. Extremely light-hearted and spirited in everything she does. For the most part she is outgoing, and always enjoys company. Though when she gets down--she's really down. She's intune with her feelings and can get emotional really easily. Most of the time she spends alone is in a forested area where she can practice archery, which is also her attempt to take things off her mind. She says what she thinks in careful conversation, and is almost always polite. Lyra will always fight for what she believes in, regardless of the positions of others.
Powers: Lyra's two powers are healing touch, and psychometry. The healing touch was inherited from her mother, who was said to be a priestess, and the psychometry just developed on it's own. Both the healing touch and psychometry require her palms to touch the object before healing or viewing events. They do not pass through her gloves. Her healing touch requires her to be well rested, in order for her to not pass out. Her psychometry is always a very emotional experience, and since Lyra is already highly emotional, the toll is almost always shaking and crying for nights on end--depending on the visions. She's passed out a few times just from trauma itself as well. Neither are good to use more than four times a day or they will overload her.
Biography: Where Lyra was born is beyond her. She has no idea who her parents were or why they left her in Sweden. Maybe they didn't want her, or maybe they couldn't have her--either way she had to live her life detached. She was grateful of course to her guardians that took her in, but of course it never felt much like home. The only thing she can remember about her parents at all, is her mother's singing. A lost melody, Lyra hummed from time to time. Singing and archery were Lyra's main passions while growing up. She'd sing any time she was alone in the forest by her town, and she would practice archery with her father figure. It was a lonely childhood but as Lyra grew, her powers came into view. Her guardians weren't sure what to do. Throughout normal schooling, Lyra didn't make any friends. She was insecure about herself, and withdrawn. She worried about the other kids finding out about her powers when she was already bullied for her ears. She liked a quiet boy who smiled at her once, but she never got the nerve to talk to him. She felt like too much of a monster inside. In the end, they decided it was best to send her off to Starlight Academy. They heard rumors of the place, so they set out on figuring out more about it. It sounded like the best shot for Lyra to be who she really was, and maybe make some friends who would understand and finally accept her.

Worst Memory: The first time she discovered her psychometry. It was the middle of the night and she was depressed. She silently slipped outside and went into the forest. There she found a rabbit who looked injured somehow. Lyra already knew about her healing, though very new to it still. She tried to do her best to fix the wound, but instead as she touched the rabbit with her palms, a dark light washed over her and she could see a distant memory. Focusing on it more, she saw the rabbit and it's family. A wolf was circling them, and the rabbits eating unaware until it grew closer. They all scattered, dashing around the forest floor, but it didn't save them. The little rabbit's family was torn to pieces and the others went missing. When she broke out of the memory she gasped for air, falling over hard onto her side. Tears streamed down her face as she shook and looked at the light blood stains on her hands. She passed out. In the morning the rabbit was gone, but the memory wasn't.
Best Memory: On her 16th birthday, Lyra was given her favorite necklace by her father figure. It was one of the only real presents she's ever gotten, and she treasures it highly. It reminds her that she can be strong, and that she did have two people who cared about her no matter how different she was from them.
