A female walked up the rocky paths of the mountains, looking at the ground for a moment, an eyebrow raised somewhat. It was colder here than it had been back home. Sure, her auburn eyes had seen snow before and the like, but she didn't think it had ever been this cold where she had come from. Even so, the woman wasn't wearing a coat; it would be too much of a hassle, what with her wings. Instead, the nineteen year old merely wore a thick, black turtle neck. Alright, maybe it wasn't the warmest thing ever, but she would live.

Annabelle lifted her right wrist closer to her face, and looked at the shackle enclosed upon it. The chain rattled a bit, though didn't pay it much mind. She knew she could easily remove these, but she refused to. She wouldn't do so until she figured she had done enough for her cause.

The nephilim stuck a hand in her pocket and took out a hair tie, having decided that her hair being down was too much of a pain for her to deal with right now. She tied her dark brown hair back, though in the particular lighting, it looked sort of reddish. Annabelle looked around, and started walking a little bit faster.

On top of the mountain was a one winged fallen who's red eyes were closed he was meditating his power's intensifying on them and increasing their power a very small bit, however his apparel was dark and mysterious, he wasn't evil as everyone had scorned him to be and stuck him in this dark place, he had no need to fight the humans unless he needed something from the town.

He was wearing a large black coat who's collar covered his mouth and only let his red eyes show, his long black hair was easily see able past it as he sensed someone coming...their footsteps to light to be human...it was an angel...his one winged wrapped around his arm hiding it and the gloved hand that held his seal and was unsee able threw it...He knew why she was here...but he would not go down without a fight if people had made physical and unwanted contact.

His eyes opened as her foot steps neared the strange area he was at it was a circle with several icy spikes that shot out of the ground and surrounded by mountains obviously ice controllers had trained here but it only added to the creepy apparel and the teeth chattering icy mist around him...he waited for whatever it was to show itself finally

Annabelle had yet to sense the fallen one, but she was getting a weird feeling in her stomach. Something had to be wrong. Well, not wrong, exactly, but not entirely normal. It was hard to tell whether this feeling in her stomach was fear or excitement, but she left it at excitement. Her pride wouldn't allow her to admit she may have been afraid of whatever was to come.

The feeling got stronger, and her hand creeped to the hilt of her sword, her fingers wrapping around it. The chain rattled softly against it, though it was still audible. It was better to be prepared, right? The woman didn't know what or who it was, but she was almost sure that it was going to be a threat. Or, in her mind, a challenge. Threats didn't really exist for her. Well, whatever she would come across, she was sure she would beat them. She wouldn't allow herself to lose.

As soon as the nephilim reached him, her footsteps slowed to a halt. Her eyes narrowed as she looked him over, being silent. Oh, she hoped that that circle with ice spikes wasn't supposed to scare her. If it was, his efforts had been for naught. Annabelle noticed his one wing and his dark appearance, though she wasn't bothered much by this. The nineteen year old was dressed in dark clothing herself, after all; she was used to these things.

She could tell that he wasn't human — his presence wasn't mortal at all. In a few moments, she smirked, and almost laughed at herself; he was a fallen, wasn't he?

"Heh..." she said, finally using her voice in front of him. She decided to make sure her assumption had been correct. "You're a fallen, aren't you?"

The fallen's eyes seemed to pierce threw her as they stared into hers almost like a ghost was grabbing her soul and letting its cold hands just lay across her chest, although noting was there...he merely looked her over noticing the chain...why would heaven have a convict come down to earth...or maybe she wasn't a convict at all...Those shackled were usually bound around the wings and legs so they could not run, never the arms in fact it was rare to ever see someone in arm bindings...so it was obvious their were other reasons he did not see about.

"Heh..."

Those words easily signaled she had some other plans for him then to just have a conversation...those wings easily showed she was someone who was placed in heaven. He merely watched her mouth move his hand not going near his swords...he would not commence sin with the blade without first gaining knowledge whether the fighter was strong or weak. As for her case...it was to unknown...he had seen much since his life within the world he was now exiled to live in, including the sudducing effects of women to try to get what they want or commit felonies without anyone trying to stop them.

"You're a fallen, aren't you?"

His serpented eyes seemed to sense anger and sorrow at the same time toward fallen...but it was not his concern but he knew that if he said yes then she would come at him because of this even if he has committed no crime or no reason to attack him. He merely watched her move carefully waiting for any signs of first remorse or any movement to attack him when he was moving his mouth carefully as a dark cold tone came from his throat

"Yes I am a fallen." The black winged didn't even stir as he said it...though the dark echo filled the small circlet just as fast as his lips closed and the red eyes looked away from her.

The reflection of a black wing clearly shown on one of the ice spikes closest and showed it was in fact moving as he stood up slowly seeing she would probably want something from him may it be his life or a personal possession.

Annabelle's auburn eyes narrowed even more when his eyes penetrated hers. She was patient, waiting for an answer. However, patience wasn't a virtue of hers, and she might end up demanding him to answer her soon. She detested silence to anothers speech; what was the point of it unless they had a good reason? Him keeping silent would only cause the nephilim to become irritated, and it wasn't a pretty scene when she was angered.

She noticed his eyes move to her shackles, and her smirk remained upon seeing this. She doubted he had any understanding of what these meant, but she didn't really care. If she had her way, he would never find out. No one ever would. No one would ever remove them except for herself, either. In fact, maybe she would never remove them at all; she was sure she could keep on killing fallens for the rest of her life, and she would do so if she had to.

"Yes I am a fallen."

The tone of his voice wasn't really surprising to her, nor had the look in his eyes. It wasn't her fault he had been banished from heaven, so why bother feeling guilty for asking that question? She herself had never been there, so he had been mistaken when he thought her wings symbolized where she had come from. Silly fallen angel.

"I'm good," she muttered to herself, laughing. "First time I've actually been completely sure of it." She had been about to tell him to get up, but when he did so, she didn't find the need. The woman unsheathed her sword. "Alright, filth. Let's fight and get this over with. If you want, I'll just kill you now and make this easy, or we can fight if you actually value your life. Whichever you prefer."

Annabelle really didn't have a right to call him 'filth', seeing as how she was part fallen angel as well. Even so, at least she hadn't exactly been banished from heaven yet. But, then again, she wasn't doing this to get there — she was doing this because of her grudge against full fallen angels. She probably shouldn't have been so cocky, either, but it couldn't be helped. The nephilim believed she was better than everyone else, after all. She unsheathed her sword, looking at him, her eyes still narrowed toward him.

Cleanse watched her before his fists clenched then relaxed almost preparing himself for this battle though obviously not taking it seriously as he wasn't touching his weapons either of them quite yet, he was not sure of her powers if she had any most angels were only happy to reach heaven ...he would not argue that...he thought it was nice when he was younger well more like when he was toddler when he got to experience it before being tossed out with no reason. He only wished he had known of his parents and perhaps he could have run away like a scared cat so that people would not think he was with them...but how would such a young angel even comprehend such things.

His wings began to blow briskly within the wind not caring he could no longer fly so they were only used to mention superiority and how he would not use his arm during a battle he thinks he can win without the use of his seal which could crush bones or steal easily. So he merely waited for her before hearing her say something, whatever it was a threat or comment about his un-pure state of being a fallen without even wondering why he was one did not concern him

"First time I've actually been completely sure of it."

Well how couldn't she tell...only certain angels had their wings cut off and when both were they became human...it did not make sense...no one would cut off one of their wings and even so their wing would still represent them power into the heavens, a black wing will send you away from it in a snap and the gate would never open for you as you got to watch others new comers who were happy to be there while an innocent was forced to stay out, and the worst part these people atoned for sins when he was to young to understand their meaning...

"Alright, filth. Let's fight and get this over with. If you want, I'll just kill you now and make this easy, or we can fight if you actually value your life. Whichever you prefer."

Cleanse merely shut his eyes again before sensing the sword it wasn't normal obviously...he would have to be careful about it...so as a test he crouched down and picked up a rock with his sealed hand and it brought it up with his un sealed hand before awaiting her first attack. "Come." He said as they shot open their pupils becoming more of snakes as his eyes found hers again however nothing changed around her

He felt a strange presence...was she full angel...it didn't add up seemingly she was hunting them because she was one? No...that made absoultuly no sense at all! Something was amiss but he did not care to find out as it was not his concern...maybe it did have something to do with those shackles she wore...wouldn't they get in the way of her fighting? He would no go easy on her non the less.

The auburn-eyed woman watched his every movement, just to make sure that he didn't try anything sneaky. If he did, it would most likely be the last thing he ever did. Annabelle wouldn't allow him to cheat during this battle — either it was going to be an honest fight or she would just kill him now. She couldn't stand lying... she may have been a good liar, but she only took advantage of it when she wanted to hide something. The woman didn't much like it when people thought she wasn't telling everything there was to tell, so it was just a way for her to keep them from thinking that she was being secretive.

"Come."

Not very talkative, was he? Ah, well. It didn't matter a great amount. Upon seeing his rock, the nineteen year old tried to suppress laughter, but it was no use. A rock? Against a sword? How stupid was this guy? There was no way that rock would do anything to her. Well, unless it hit her in the head, which she doubted would happen. "You must really want to die..." she said. "Who's actually stupid enough to use something so harmless against a sword? Don't you have some sort of real weapon, filth?"

Filth... that was officially her new name for fallen angels. It would have been his name in particular, but why bother naming such a disgusting creature? Besides, he wasn't going to live long enough to gain a name. He would die in this battle, she wouldn't allow him to live. He was a fallen angel, and therefore needed to perish, no matter what.

"Well, oh well. I can't be bothered to worry about the likes of you." With that being said, Annabelle readied her sword and ran at him, slashing downwards toward his left shoulder.

Same shoulder his seal was on...he suddenly tossed the rock into his wings and in a flash sparks flew and the rocky material was hard to keep a firm cut into the strange material. Instead the sword merely slid off as both of their powers clashed, his seal made the rock lunge forward a few feet but with enough power to destroy any normal sword which usually sent those running in fear. However this angel seemed different his wing was now spread the glove not revealing the seal or what was happening so she would only have to guess he could do that in any material and in anyway possible with any part of his body...however this was not the case as the wing's black feathers were vibrantly visible and almost hypnotic in a sense to those who first gazed at them

Suddenly he watched her blade closely looking for signs of cracking or weakness not knowing anything about her powers or she was a light manipulator but to add some damage he suddenly brought his leg up for a super speed-ed knee right into her gut (No i am not god modding the wording might seem like it but he is merely bringing his leg up and pushing it forward quickly.) His eyes did not change as his mouth did not either to signify a victory as she made the first move and was not one of the smartest to not even try to tell what kind of power he had may it be super speed as the case here...and the worst part was the humiliation of him not even using his blade against her

"Who's actually stupid enough to use something so harmless against a sword? Don't you have some sort of real weapon, filth?"

As he heard that he pulled away after the knee would make sufficient contact if it did as a blur and it looked like their were 5 of him jumping back each after image brighter and less visible. "I will give you a chance to leave before I force you down." He said his eyes still as they were before

Annabelle blinked. WHAT?! she screamed in her head when her sword slid off of him. Perhaps she had rushed into this, seeing as how she hadn't bothered to figure out how strong he was or what his powers were. But, then again, since when did the female nephilim think things through? She was cocky, full of herself, and didn't think she would ever lose. A horrible combination, really, but she still wasn't a bad person. She just had a lot of anger built up from her past.

Unfortunately for him, her sword wasn't cracking yet — it was going to take a lot to break her weapon. She had always made sure it was strong, because it wouldn't be great if it snapped into two halves in the middle of a battle. She stumbled back when she received his kick, and blinked, looking at him. Annabelle honestly hadn't been expecting that... but she would get over it. It hurt, but she would live. The wind hadn't been knocked out of her, after all. She growled, preparing for another attack on him.

However, she didn't have the chance. Her reddish-brown eyes looked around when she saw the five images of him fading in and out. Upon hearing what he said, the woman hissed, obviously angered by that. "You think I'd leave a battle I started?" she asked, her eyes narrowing at him, her tone dangerous and threatening. "I assure you, filth, I'm not like that. I have no reason to leave, seeing as how I'm going to win!"

Thinking twice, she decided not to be an idiot, and waited for him to come at her instead. She wanted to see what he could do now. She probably wouldn't patient enough to see everything, but she would try. She didn't want to get hurt too badly, after all... although, she doubted that would happen.

Suddenly he seemed right in front of her her her arms at her sides just staring off into space a sword's tip at her neck it stabbed a small bit in so a small amount of blood would drip off and if she pulled it away the blade would rip more skin away. "Well?" He asked her once more not going to kill her she didn't deserve to die yet especially with how naive she is she deserves to experience more and grow more before anyone would kill her.

He merely waited for her response no need to respond to hers none was needed, since his sword was in her neck and moving would cause her to lose more blood possibly kill herself which he knew for a fact she didn't want to have happen to her yet he had a feeling of that...Instead he would merely knock her unconscious with a single blow of the hilt of his blade or a strong knee in her gut to make her fully lose her breath for a short while.

His red eyes only continued to pierce threw hers trying to send jolts of fear threw her heart and mind, they were back to normal now no longer holding that snake like appearance that they held a few moments ago...it was the only way to tell it was an illusion, however you only got 2 seconds to see these eyes before they changed to normal and you were in his illusion.
