"Possible," Jude said, "but kind of doubtful. Giltenn never found proof of any on our world, and Giltenn's pretty thorough."

Which was a very polite way of saying that Giltenn was very thorough.

Jude did not look at the blueprint further. It might have looked like he was simply not paying that much attention, but really he already had the entire thing memorized. He only needed to look once to know, and he'd looked once and been done with it.

"I think it's likely my world just had a different set of background data. I think the most likely were angels-and-demons, but they kept quiet for obvious reasons. So we had people that had dragon powers, but we didn't have dragons."

Jude actually did have questions. That was kind of who he was. A kid with questions. A kid with more questions than actual fingers, and he considered it for a moment.

"I might make a list," he said. "If that's alright with you. A decent list of questions that I could go over later. I wasn't sure how open you'd be with me, but you're pretty open, so I think I need a bit more time to make up a decent list, without having to constantly pause to cross-reference with Giltenn about how that lines up with what I know."

Jude had a sneaking suspicion that, more than anything else, Altizica actually liked explaining things. He didn't seem to get many people asking questions. Part of that was because he tended to brag, and as Jude had learned people hated braggarts, but part of that was also just because of what he was--an eldritch cult leader.

With shady connections, if the office was any indication.

"Thank you very much," Jude said. "I'll give you a call in a few days when I have my list all ready?"

Assuming Altizica was fine with it, Jude would get ready to go, taking careful note of the pathway out.
