Private Finished The Dragon And The Birb

Valentines day was coming up and Kueria had absolutely no idea what that meant. She had been told that it was a day dedicated to lovers and all that whatnot but it was honestly just confusing at best. Regardless, she was glad she could spend the day going on a hunt with Eein. Trudging through the woods, she felt a warm sense of assurance at his constant presence. Valentines day or not, outings with her friend were the best.

"Kueria's doing fine! Her memory has gotten a bit better and everything is going really well! The studies aren't too hard because it feels like I've learnt it before." Giving her shoulders a slight shrug as her wings unfurled, she continued. "Kueria actually hasn't experienced valentines day before. She heard you were supposed to give flowers and stuff but Kueria doesn't really understand the whole concept." Pausing, she peered up at her friend and puffed her cheeks out as she spoke. "I mean if you really love the person, Kueria thinks everyday should be like valentines day! Right?"

“Studying together sounds super fun! Kueria is very bad at language but she has been getting decent grades at economics! Maybe she can also try to help Eein whenever she can!” Her wings fluttered in excitement for a few moments before settling down just below her shoulders. Scooting a little closer to Eein, she wrapped her arms round his as in a small embrace. "Kueria loves to show her friends affection!"

The girl took a mental note on how she could supposedly give her friends flowers. That being said, since today was already valentines day, finding real flowers might be a slight challenge but she supposed she could just make crystal flowers instead. Pausing for a short moment to scan the vicinity, she then peered up at Eein once more.

"So what does Eein want to hunt today?"

Parting her lips ever so slightly in shock, her cheeks begun to dye themselves in rosy hues as she paused for a moment. Once she had regained her composure, her lips curled into a grin as she excitedly exclaimed "And Eein is Kueria's amazing and cool dragon friend!"

With her wings slowly wrapping round the edges of her shoulders in sheer suppressed excitement, she then replied. "Kueria has always hunted in the forbidden forest because the creatures there put up a really fun fight! Here in the normal woods, Kueria's not so sure what she can hunt. The animals are all so cute too!" Puffing her cheeks out, she then furled her wings behind her back once more. "We can hunt whatever Eein thinks tastes nice!" Leaning in a little closer, she then asked "So what would Eein like to eat?"

Kueria nodded at the proposal of hunting a deer. The animal might be cute but the idea of eating it was simply too good to pass up. Enlargening her wings, she steepled her hands together as she exclaimed: “Kueria can hunt in human form today! It’s easier to target a deer like this because deers are smaller than what she usually hunts.”

Finally, a weapon she was familiar with. Shifting her attention to the bow, she sparred herself a moment to appreciate the authenticity of it. No fancy gunpowder, no modern installments, simply a bow and an arrow that relies on the user’s skill. Resisting the urge to run her fingers across it’s arch, she turned to face Eein once more, suddenly hyper aware of their close proximity. In a swift motion, her wings squirmishly furled themseves as the rosy tints on her cheeks intensified. “K... Kueria has a bow too!”

Stepping back, she opened her palm to face the sky as she took in a slow inhale. Seemingly luminescent particles begun to gather in drifting tendrils, eventually conforming to the form of a bow. Clasping onto her new creation, the girl looked towards Eein for what to do next.

The girl's blush simply intensified at his praise. Biting down her tongue, she resisted the urge to brush it off and simply accepted it with gratitude. Kueria was shocked at how quickly he picked up the scent of a deer; she could barely sense it's movements within her radar and even then, the motions were too hazy for her to deduce if it was an actual dear, thus leading her to conclude that the deer was around 50 meters away.

"Eein's sense of smell is really good, Kueria is amazed!" Stepping back, she leaped into the air as she gave her wings a sharp flap to further propel her upwards. A single gleaming arrow materialized onto the palm of her left hand as she nodded. "Kueria would love to help Eein scout in the air, she will follow closely behind!"
