Located on the edge of the city, stands a stadium, it’s large white walls and red roof silhouetted against the lush green background of the countryside, a concrete monolith, the Bright Arena. The arena has a maximum capacity of around 13,000, but that’s only during concerts, when half of the stage of the arena is disassembled, and seating is placed in. The regular capacity is around 10,000.

Built in 1982 by entrepreneur Alexandra Bright, the Arena was originally designed for the purpose of one-on-one hand-to-hand matches, it has since expanded beyond that. It has hosted a variety of events beyond fights; Many bands have performed here including the popular 90s band Shambala, with it’s late Yeti frontman, Kurt Coldbrain, and of course, Manta Carlos’ own Fuzzy Werewolves. The last four seasons of popular supernatural TV show King of The Castle, an elaborate obstacle course game show where contestants are employed to use their powers, was filmed here, as was popular game show Bigfoot or Bust. Several professional organisations hire out the arena for their training events, including the scouts, as the changeable nature of the arena allows for training in a variety of environments. The arena is quite popular for hosting large-scale magic demonstrations, especially ones where the chance of permanent damage to the area around the user or the target of the magic is an issue. It regularly hosts sporting events, and, due to the nature of the arena, can be quickly converted into an ice skating rink or sports field. However, it is indoors, but does have large floodlighting to simulate sunlight.

The arena has tiered seating, surrounding a stage of 300 feet by 150 ft, and, if needed, can be surrounded by various enclosures to isolate the field from the spectators, both to prevent pitch invasions, and to prevent items from the field reaching the crowd.

The arena itself uses a piece of alien technology brought by Mr Bright in the 1980s, a Fractalite Terrain Generator. This device can generate any environment within the arena, from an ice rink, to a fabulous stage show, to a lush rainforest, and even generate weather within the bounds of the arena. The device is also immune to almost all kinds of technology disruption and manipulation, however, new environments can take weeks to program every exact detail, so they are often made from combinations of previous environments. However, there is a team who work tirelessly to create new environments. An old favourite was a large labyrinth, but after the corn maze incident, this arena fell out of usage, in favour of a rocky environment.

The primary purpose, despite the arena being used for sporting events, is still for one-on-one duels. However, these matches are not lethal (apart from during specialist matches, where it is guaranteed the competitors will revive), and are usually fights until one of the members is either knocked out or they tap out, but, when supernatural folk are involved, a knock out becomes significantly more difficult. Many of these duels are often strung together into tournaments, with a large cash prize and a trophy. Some of these tournaments have fighters playing a character, but the fights are real, whilst others are just pure fights, and the most popular, the SFC (Supernatural Fight Championships) combines aspects of both. There are also various tiers of fights depending on the supernatural abilities of the combatants, for it would be unfair to have someone with human strength fight a god of war, although, with the consent of both parties, anyone may fight. Most fights are often hand-to-hand (or rather, power-to-power) but, if both parties agree, players may pick a weapon.

The arena also has an excellent medical facility to deal with injured combatants, and a state of the art gym, which any fighter may use at any time. The gym is so excellent that many fighters take part in the minimum number of fights to be able to use it. Along with this, it also has two bars, a classy cocktail bar and a more rough-and-ready bar, and a small restaurant.
