Octain held class by the lake. Going over Hydromancy as a whole. Though he wasn't as adept as he would like to be at it. He enjoyed the practice with it. He looked to the sky for a moment as a small ball of water slowly descended back into the lake. Before turning around to the class.
"Thank you all. I believe that is it for class today. All of you are dismissed. Mister Bateman please stay I require a moment of your time." He said. Awaiting for all the students to leave before undoing his backpack for a moment as he dropped it on the ground. Taking a moment to go through and pulling out a water bottle for them both. Handing one out as he kept the other for himself. IF he didn't take it he placed the one for Carl into his bag and shifted his mask to take a drink from it.
"Well.. Carl. I have a few things for you. One you are up for honors in my classes. You excel at all my theoretical work. Have gone far beyond the expectations for practicals. Though. I do have one last final test for you, Arch Magus. This will be one worthy of your title. As well as of mine." He said. Finishing his water bottle though taking his time. Placing the empty water bottle in his backpack as not to litter the ground as he awaited for either Carl to finish his. IF he didn't take it he just teleported his backpack to his classroom. So his priceless items would not be damaged.
"It has been a while since we sat down and had some kind of conversation. Or do you wish to get right down to the test?" He said curiously. Trying to find out just how respected he was. A master a magic for humans. To a master of magic for Elves. On rank. They were next to on par with one another. Though he just knew.. Elves were more adept at magic than any human will ever be.
Even so he was going to make this test tough for Carl. A strong wizard in his own right.
