"It's not all classical with me" he chuckled, still locked in the embrace, "but, that one" he stumbled slightly as the magical field which surrounded him pulled the bone back into shape, still surrounded by Penelope "that one hurt." he chuckled and winked at her. He drew a long bony finger, and flicked one of the white eyes, one on Penelope's wrist. "That's for breaking my rib" he smiled, and cast his eyes downward. Spikes made of bone pierced the snow like knives.

"And this is for ruining the moment." He gripped penelope and swung threw her over his right arm, straight down towards the floor, towards long spikes which extended towards her body.

As he swung her down, she hit a cushion of air, something invisible in the dream stopping her from hitting the spikes. Charlie held her inches above the spikes in a dip, looking up at the silver moon. He pulled her back up again.

"Yock dehay" He winked, one of his bright blue eyes flickering out for a second before reigniting.

"It's only ruining the mood if you let the mood be ruined, love."
Penelope stood again and adjusted herself. She winced at the flicking of one of her eyes and let her body language mimic an exasperated sigh.

Turning into smoke and flitting away from Charlie a bit, she reconstituted herself wearing a new, more risque outfit of dark brown leather and violet lace.

"I am personally having a great deal of fun. But if you're not, we can always try something else that suits your fancy, bones."

Charlie stepped forwards, as if going in to embrace her, and disapeared. His voice came from all around her, mimicing the style in which she had arrived.

"Well" came the voice. It was close, but everywhere "we're in a place we can both control to our hearts contents. A veritable playground where we can show anything about ourselves that we wish."

Things appeared in the snow, between the trees. A sabertooth tiger walked between the trees before disapearing. A strange winged creature sat in the branches of a tree, before disapearing the same. The skyline of a strange city briefly illuminated the sky before vanishing.

The voice was gone, and a suddenly Charlie was behind Penelope. He gripped her in the same position she had gripped him in when cracking his ribs. He tightened his arms, before loosening them and kissing one of the eyes on her neck.

"I'll show you mine if you show me yours"

"Oh darling, I don't bare all on the first date. What kind of girl do you take me for?" Penelope let a smirk play at the edges of one of the larger eyes on the back of her head as she spoke. For someone so long lived, Charlie seemed to be a rather impatient man. She traced her hands up his arms as he embraced her, contorting her own limbs in impossible ways until she had her hands on his shoulders.

Penelope's body shifted so that she was facing him, though by her head it was hard to tell still. She pressed her bosom up against Charlie's chest and let out a gentle purr.

"You think you can invite me into your head, show me you're," she almost let the world 'nearly' slip out, "as strong as me, and what? You can't just skip the foreplay, babe."

Charlie smiled at penelope. He liked her. It was strange, but the thing he missed most about life was the warmth. And he could feel hers. It was common amongst the undead. Draugr were creatures who relentlessly sought the warmth of the living, and, in a way, so did vampires.

And suddenly the forest was gone, the trees scoured from existance, and they were in a bar. An old fashioned bar. Jazz music played from a radio behind the bar. The windows of the bar were blacked out, and the bottles on the shelf were not labeled. Strange shadow people walked about the room, half memories of faces either never remembered or long forgotten. Cigars protruded from places where mouths should be. All the men wore suits, and the women had short hair. There was something almost sepia about the room. It was the roaring twenties again, inside Charlie's mind. He looked at penelope, her many eyes. He was having fun.

"Ah so i should take things slowly. Build up to a climax?" Charlie beckoned the shadow faced bartender over. He poured a glass of amber liquid, whisky, and passed it to Charlie, ice cubes clinking against each other in the glass "would you like something to drink?" He looked down at her, still held close to his chest.

Penelope pulled away from Charlie's embrace and looked around the bar. Shadows, the memories of those so long ago that they didn't have names, faces, or even personality. Just set pieces pretending to be people.

Her form solidified as she took a seat at the bar. Without a word the bartender mixed her up a classic martini which she sipped on through a crimson eye pursed like ruby red lips.

She snatched a cigar from a nearby shadow and took a puff, blowing out shapes of smoke that were both impossible and incomprehensible in their geometry. She got oddly somber and serious for a moment, pointing the cherry red tip of her cigar at Charlie.

"Hey," responded Charlie, sipping at the whisky, and chuckled "you've got more than enough eyes to go around. And i guess you're leading this dance. I'll take the next one eh?" He smiled.

The whisp of smoke penelope had exhaled began to twist in the air, like a snake writhing in pain, and began to wind itsself around his fingers, briefly forming strange, but earthly shapes. A dragons maw, a lion's face, some form of bird, before coiling in the flat of his hand, where it slowly dissipated into a miniature mushroom cloud, which, in an instant, became solid, an icecube, which fell into his bony palm. He popped it into the neat whisky before taking a drink of the calming golden liquid.

"I love this place" Charlie responded, looking around the blacked out room, watching the strange figures mill about the room, each clutching some form of conical shadow, a drink. He looked at the clock on the wall behind the bar. It was 11:48 PM. "Something interesting will happen in... oh 3 minutes." It was prohibition after all.

Penelope quirked several of her eyes curiously as Charlie mentioned something interesting happening. She sipped her drink, humming a sickeningly sweet pop song to herself that was painfully out of place in their current setting.

Leaving her cigar clenched in one of her eyes, she turned around and leaned back against the bar, resting her elbows atop it as she contimued to drink from another eye on her head. Watching. Waiting. Ready to do anything, and prepared for absolutely nothing.

Charlie finished his drink and placed it onto the wooden bar and held up three fingers.

Then two.

Then one.

Then none.

There was an emmense uproar as the door flew off it's hinges, skidding into the centre of the room. A pair of shadowfaced individuals stepped into the room, dressed in clean charcoal pinstripe suits and matching trilby hats. Each of them held a submachine gun.

They opened fire.

Bottles exploded, showering the bar with a mixture of glass and alcohol. The glass passed through penelope, as did the bullets, but appeared to hit charlie. There was the sound of puncturing flesh, the sound of screams. Shadowfaced men and women dropped to the ground left and right, a scarlet stain seeping out from each of them. Magnificent golden dresses turned a deep red. The barman fell against the bar, knocking Charlie's empty tumbler to the floor where it shattered. The sound of brass hitting polished ceramic tile. Then, all was still.

The two men wielding the guns stepped aside, and a large smooth faced man smoking a cigar stepped into the room. This man was not a shadow, but had a face. He took a long drag on his cigar, exhaled, and spoke "That'll show those north side boys who runs this town" before leaving the room, the two men who wielded the guns following after him.

A slow jazz song, haunting started up on the radio. Charlie turned to Penelope and whispered into one of the eyes where an ear should be "You wanted excitement? Well you just met Al Capone." He kissed her, briefly, in the gap between the eyes. "Do you want to see some more of the inside of my head, or shall we see what's in yours?"

"Al Capone? Really? And here I took you for stuck up, Bones."

Penny smirked and walked around surveyed the damage. The bloodshed was good. Not as dramatic as what she usually made, but she couldn't fault Charlie for that. After all, he had apparently witnessed this scene. And all the bloody scenes in the world couldn't measure up to the imagination.

Snapping her fingers, Penny dissolved the scene around them. Turned the bar into a late night talk show set, with Charlie sitting behind the desk and Penny perched, one leg crossed over the other, in the comfortable chair next to the desk. Canned applause from an invisible audience filled the air along with an otherworldly, disjointed jazz band intro.

"Well Charlie, that's a very good question. Unfortunately, this isn't my head space. So you can't really see anything of mine in here. Besides, there are things I definitely will do on a first date. Spilling all my secrets isn't one of them."

[[Ooc: I'm really sorry about the delay. My Penny muse kinda stalled there for a while.]]
