Chloe needed to get some studying in, but she didn't want to be somewhere that she might accidentally bump into someone else. Not as long as she was suffering from this curse that zapped people around her into the opposite sex. Most of the cases didn't seem to be permanent at least.

Her solution was to study outside. It was a relatively nice day out - cloudy enough to mellow out the sunlight, but not so cloudy that she had to worry about rain. Warm, but not too warm. She sat on a bench at the far end of the courtyard, away from all of the foot traffic. Someone would need to go out of their way to get within zapping range of Chloe.

Chloe was too buried in her second year biology book to notice a freshman with cat ears walking up to her. She might have tried to warn her if she had.

Addy was pretty much excited every single day she was at school. It was the first time she was in an actual school and being taught by tutors. It was an expierence she was glad that she was able to have. Mostly because it meant that she had a lot of hot people to flirt with, she had never truly realized how young she actually was. Why were all the hot ones much older than her? Speaking of Hot people she saw a girl studying by herself, and being Addy..she assumed that she was lonely.

Addy was the type of person that believed everyone should be happy and excited, and have as much fun as possible. Even if Addy was a complete party all by herself...she needed attention to be the cheerful person that she was. If it wasn't a survival thing, she could probably throw an epic party with only herself as the attendee. Skipping over she walked up to the girl who Addy knew she was older than her due to the biology book.

"Hello! Are you studying for a test? Test are incredibly boring." Especiall evil science test, from teachers who were just jealous of your awesomeness. Okay so maybe Addy did have a hard time failing at things.

Chloe flinched in surprise when she heard that 'Hello!"

"...Uh, hi!" Chloe chuckled, nervous. It was a cute freshman girl with cat ears. Chloe was terrified that she was going to zap her at any moment.

"Yeah, it's, uh, not for a test. Just keeping up so I don't get my grade wrecked by a pop quiz." Chloe's biology teacher was notorious for his pop quizzes. He didn't want anyone saving that studying for the last minute before the exam.

After saying that, Chloe was completely stuck. Part of her wanted to compliment the girl on the ears (she was such a cutie!) but another part of her wanted to warn the girl away. Every moment near Chloe today was a dangerous one, for anyone who wasn't planning on getting zapped by an extremely queer spell. So she just sat there and looked up at Addy, waiting for her to say something.

Addy nodded, studying for a pop quiz does seem like a logical thing to do, only addy was rarely logical. Infact she was pretty much illogical eighty percent of the time. Which was it was pretty much chaos trying to figure out how she thought, or why did things. "Yes but studying is best at night before bed!" Only because sleep like school test were the inevitable...the unavoidable horrors of the teenager world. She was positives the adults have forgotten what it was like to be young and awsome. Therefore they try and suck the life out of them with school work. She was going to show them, by having so much fun they got tired and and stop opressing her with science class.

"Soo why are you alone? DO people bully you? I'm against violence but i will beat them up for you! do you have any friends? You can be my friends!" She said sincerely her big eyes seemed slightly bigger as she tried to seem nicer and encouraging. Addy's biggest fear was being left out and forgotten and she had a habit of pushing that on other people. Of course she knew deep deep down that some people liked being alone, but she didn't understand how people could not want to be surrounded by people. It was a side effect of her abilities no doubt.

Addy sat down beside Chloe her tail swishing and her head tilted. She was determined to cheer up the girl she had deemed sad. Of course she had no way of knowing if the girl was really sad.

Chloe was overwhelmed by the catgirl's energy. This barrage of questions and bold statements was too much for her to keep up with, the conversation quickly turning one-sided. She was carrying herself like some sort of plucky anime protagonist. Chloe couldn't find it in her heart to tell her to leave, but at the same time, she needed to.

"I, uh... I'm sorry, but you might want to , uh, be careful if you want to —"

And then it happened. A bright purple arc of crackling energy shot between them, feeling like a static shock.

Chloe inhaled sharply and cringed, as though in pain. "Well, shit. Never mind, the damage is done. I'm... I'm really sorry about this."

She sighed.

"Anyway. To answer your questions, I don't get bullied much anymore, and I have a lot of friends in the Demonic Student Union, which is this club i started this year. We still have a few people hating on demon kids, but it's becoming-" Chloe paused, noticing that this girl had some demonic heritage to her. "... a lot less socially acceptable, now."

Chloe didn't know how quickly that zap would kick in, or how dramatically it would behave. She hoped it wouldn't scar the catgirl too much, in any case.

Addy knew she had the habit of coming on strong. She was just incredibly energetic and very friendly to the point she couldn't contain it. She never wanted to make someone feel uncomfortable but sometimes she did. She realized that the conversation had became one sided, she was very good at reading emotional cues, facial expressions, body langauge. Only sometimes she ignored them in her quest to make a friend. She should've saw the slight distress in the girl beside her but she was too busy worrying about how the girl might be, being bullied.

She let out an "EEp" at the static shock, her tail twitching wildly for a minute, but other wise nothing happened. She was starting to think that the weird energy was why the girl was all alone. Was she afriad of her powers? Surely staticy shock stuff wasn't that scary? At any rate, Addy took a deep breathe and tried to reign in her obvious enthuasism.

"Oh! i'm a demon too...though I didn't know there was a club for them. I'm Addy by the way" She said not noticing the subtle shortening of her hair. Addy was pretty much obvlivous to anything..only her arms were she was shocked was getting really itchy.

"Is your club still accepting members?" She asked trying to subtly scratch her arm without offending the girl...she wasn't itchy before she walked over she was sure the girl was to blame.

"Always," Chloe said, trying to smile. "All you need to do to be a member is show up. I'm Chloe by the way."

She couldn't ignore the ways Addy was changing before her eyes. She sighed again.

"So, uh... the main reason I've been trying to stay out of everyone's way is, uh... I'm kind of a magical hazard right now." She was expecting Addy to get upset once she found out, and Addy had every right to be upset about it. "That little arc that shot between us? That... was a bit of magic that might be turning you into a boy right now. Probably only temporarily. And if it isn't I can find someone to help you fix it."

Addy nodded, she was going to have a lot on her plate if she kept joining clubs. Of course that meant she would be able to talk to more people, that was a always a good thing as far as addy was concerned. She was worried about the slight offness in Chloe, like something was wrong and she should probably ask what it was. Maybe she was coming on to strong, nope no after actually listening and not going on a rampage of thoughts she realized that it wasn't her fault. Which meant that she had absoultely nothing to worry about because she hadn't totally screwed up talking to the hot demon girl who was probably way to over age for her in the first place.

"So it's just gonna turn me into boy? So like I wont grow tentacles...or like become...unattractive?" She had heard that magical accidents caused all kinds of messed up side effects. Like lose of limbs, bleeding, death, and pregnancy. Okay maybe that last one was her reading fanfiction but still, no one had to know.

"Actually that's pretty cool, I've always wondered what it was like to use the boy's restroom. I don't think i'll be able to use the girl's...Do you think i'd get taller? I'm awfully short and it's seriously dampening my flirt skills. Well I can just stay like this to a right my- woah is the my voice?" She asked as it got slighter deeper and then went out at the end. She stared at Chloe panicking. That giving out was not normal...did she just gender change her way into puberty.

"I think...I might have entered boy puberty Hell, did you hear that voice crack thingy?!?" She exclaimed her voice sounded completely different from her normal femine voice. She wasn't angry she was facinated but she didn't want to be going through girl puberty heck..let alone boy puberty heck.

"I mean this fine, I'm fine don't worry about this...I just think my legs are too long for this skirt Though." She was probably four inches taller than she normall was. Four inches was better than nothing...her underwear was suddenly extreme constricting....she felt....compressed? Was compressed even the right word...

"Yeah, it'll just make you more, er, boy-like. And cat-boys and cat-girls are equally cute in my book, so your attractiveness shouldn't get hurt too much." She smiled.

Chloe listened, attentive, as Addy went on about her concerns and watched her start to panic. Addy told her not to worry, but she was still worried.

"You should be able to go to whichever restroom you want," Chloe pointed out. "Just because your body's changing doesn't necessarily mean you're any less of a girl. And this is probably just temporary. But if you need something to wear in the meantime I could go take you shopping; I still have a discount at the place I used to work for."

She sighed. "I'm really sorry about all this Addy. Just... let me know if I can do anything to help."

Addy smiled, hot demon girl thought she was cute...which was a win for her even if she knew it would never happen. The girl had to be at least eighteen and she was only fourteen, she was illegal and that was horrible...at least for her. Then gain addy like things the way it was, she could get away with flirting with older people because they didn't take her seriously. She just had to make sure they weren't too old for it to be creepy. "Yes but what if I make others uncomfortable..I totally look like aboy, what am I supposed to tell the other freshman girls....?" She could of course just wait till she got home but that was not the point. The point was that Addy didn't want to make people uncomfortable because she was very accomadating and nice.

"You know I nevre thought about the shopping prospects...I can buy a whole new wardrobe...No You don't have too. I'm perfectlly capable of buy my own clothes, between my brother and my dad...I don't have to worry about money." She might have spent over 1k on glitter...clothes shouldn't be an issues.

"Don't apologize it's not your fault, besides you're a hot demon girl...i'm sure people won't mind to much"
