Teacher, I don't feel so good...

Marissa was trying her best to hold onto the knife. The sharp object kept falling through her hand. She was cursing up a storm under her breath. This was not working right now, and her group mates were giving her weird looks. Sharp pains hit her phasing body and led her to crumble against the counter.

Noah had informed her what was wrong. Somehow the portal ripped out part of her, and now she was like this. Her go-to for magic bullshit was taken out of commission by the portal too, so she was not an option. Risky also didn't trust going to just anyone for help.

But she needed it soon....if only to keep herself from phasing out of existence entirely. As she faded back into solidity, the others already called for the home ec teacher's attention. She was sitting on the ground, only now aware of her less ghostly hands.

Risky looked up at the concerned teacher. Normally she'd be dismissive or rude, but she felt too awful to even bother. The girl shook her head. "This bullshit won't stop....." And it was visibly hurting her. She curled up. Another flicker occurred that left her cringing. Everyone was kind of whispering and making comments about it being out-of-control powers, but this only annoyed the student further. She growled in frustration.

The girl did her best to sit up without falling through the cabinets. "My body can't stop phasing. I had a guy named Noah tell me it's because I ended up here through a wonky portal. I haven't found anyone that can fix it yet....." She shifted uncomfortably. "And it hurts like a bitch." At least she sort of knew the solution; she just lacked the ability to solve it.

"As far as I know no. Just a normal ass human girl. But that nerd Noah said some shit about me losing Mana. So did a friend of mine, but well, she's a witch." There was no point to secrecy. She found herself clinging onto the adult for support. This was embarrassing, but Xavier wasn't around to comfort her right now.

"Some shit about adding more mana to my body...." As far as she understood, she required energy to be shoved directly into her. Now how she would get that level of energy was a different story. She even thought about opening up another portal for this purpose, but like hell if she knew how to accomplish it. Her body began to fizz out again, leaving her distraught and in further pain. "Make it stop!" She barked at her teacher. Just getting fed up with her state at this point.
