Talks of Intimacy

The young harpy had started drifting off to sleep when the movie reached its end. She had been comfortable enough with Alex that she started acting a little more loosely around him. But of course, she hadn't known a lot of the other werewolves in Alex' pack yet, so when it came to acting around the others, she was a bit more reserved.

But being in the privacy of Alex' room, she felt free to lie down on her side and let her head rest on his lap. She turned to him when she felt Alex brush some of her hair out of her face. He wanted to talk? "Of course not. What did you want to talk about?"

The harpy's head tilted slowly to the side, curious as to what he wanted to talk about. He brought up that they've been dating a while, and then something about intimacy. Was she doing something wrong, not doing something she should be doing in a relationship?

Feeling her hand squeezed, she instinctively squeezed back. "Well, what is it?" she asked. There was some worry on her face. She noticed that Alex was having a hard time telling her what he wanted to tell her, and she couldn't help but feel kind of anxious.

She tried to piece together what she can from the clues, and she got the idea that maybe he was going to ask her to tie the knot? Get married? Since dating was intimate already, would marriage be the next thing to that? The thought made her blush, but still worried. She wouldn't even know the first thing about being a wife. And what would her mother think? She hadn't even met Alex. She was worried that her mother would be too shocked about the whole thing and panic.

"S... S-sex?" Her blush deepened, which was already clearly seen against her fair skin. Now, as a daughter of a scientist, she was no stranger to the meaning of the word, and she herself had used it in conversation and sometimes with jokes among friends, but to have heard it in this context, this current situation, it was hard for her to say for some reason. It made her heart jump and her eyes widen.

How was she going to respond to this? Now that it was brought up, she was curious, but she wasn't sure about it at the same time. Would it change anything? She would love to if it got the two of them closer, but what if it... made things different in a bad way?

With a shaky voice, she asked, "Y-you... wanted to... do it?" She knew that he said that they'd just talk, but that would lead to that, wouldn't it?

The harpy eased up a little, finding out that Alex was giving her time to be ready for such a thing. She had never thought about it before, and then having it brought up so suddenly caught her off guard.

She kissed him back and smiled shyly. It didn't make her uncomfortable, but it did make her curious, leading to a few questions that she might regret if it was answered. "W-well... We can still talk about it, if you want... I kind of... want to know..."

Valerie tried to keep eye contact, but her heart would suddenly jump, as if there was a kind of spark whenever their eyes met. It felt weird... warm... but not in a bad way.

Her blush couldn't help but return. She smiled, happy that Alex was alright with waiting. Val didn't know when they should do it, or when she'd think she would be ready for something like it... but... she couldn't deny that she was kind of scared of it. New things normally wouldn't be much of a hassle, but this... this choice felt a lot heavier than anything else. Like it could be something she couldn't just simply shrug off in the future if it turned out to be bad.

Why she felt this way, she didn't know. She liked Alex, that she was sure of, and she would be happy to stick around with him for as long as she lived, but something was just trying to keep her from such intimacy. Should she be frustrated with that?

"I hope I wouldn't be making you wait too long..." she said shyly.
