Jolin sat on the roof, gazing up at the stars and moon. She felt so completely at peace out here in the night sky. Everything in the world just seemed to disappear and it was like there was nothing in the universe but her and millions and millions of brightly shining lights. She closed her eyes, but opened them again at the sound of flapping wings. There were three or four pigeons standing in front of her.
"Hello." she said to them. They all cooed in reply. "It's beautiful out here, isn't it? It really is nice. I wish I could see it like you can, from high up in the sky without the limitations of this roof... with no limitations at all..." She trailed off as she was caught in a daydream. The pigeons spoke to her some more, telling her about the things they had seen. She just closed her eyes and listened, and smiled. Suddenly, they all flew away and she turned to see she had been joined by another student. She tried to act like she hadn't seen them, because she knew they probably came up here for privacy.

Tsim walked behind her wondering what to do now...he liked the cooler breeze of the night wearing his white hooded shirt his white eyes looking around noticing someone...he said nothing to them since he didn't speak but just acknowledged her

Ember opened the door to the roof and smiled. She had grown fond of the roof of the school; it was so peaceful yet so entertaining. The night was a brisk one, but Ember was used to that, so she was prepared with a thin black button sweater that was so long it was like a trenchcoat, reaching down to her feet.

She corssed her arms and stared out into the night sky. It was so beautiful, the stars and the moon, she loved the night. Ember looked around to see if there was anyone else around, it was slightly late so she had thought no one was around. She was in the mod to sing, but hated having an audience, she never thoughtshe was good enough for one. Right when she was about to begin, she heard something; a voice. It was a girl who seemed to be talking to someone. When Ember spotted her, she saw that she was talking to nobody, then spotted several pigeons, and realized that she was tlaking to them. Intrigued, Ember went closer to the girl to join her. "Hi," She began. "Is it okay if i join you?"

Jolin smiled at the girl, and noticed there was a boy there also, but he obviously preferred to be left to his own devices. She smiled at him anyway. She had met so many people today... most of them had been nice. She thought that even the Adelina girl at least respected her in some odd way.

"Of course you can sit. A beautiful sight like the night sky is only beautiful when shared.".

She closed her eyes and basked in the stars and moon some more. She was wearing nothing but a tank top, jeans and a belt but she didn't notice the night air at all. She was so focused on the light of the stars, that her mind got off track and without meaning to, she turned her hair milk-white. She opened her eyes and blushed.

"My name's Jolin." she said to the girl.

Ember smiled whenthe girl had allowed her to sit next to her. She notcied that the girl looked over to someone and smiled, she glanced in the same directionand notcieda boy in white a bit away. She recognized him as the same guy from the wilderness. Those white eyes, Ember could never forget.

Anywho, the girl introduced herself as Jolin. "I'm Ember. And you're right. Some of the best sights arne't the same unless you're sharing it with someone...you know?"

Tsim merely hung over the railing of the opposite side...just wanting to stop being a thorn in everyone sides...well he thought he was...everyone was always helping or taking care of him and he could do nothing to pay them back...

Jolin smiled letting some of her now-white hair spill over her shoulder.

"Yes... I know.". She sat there in silence for a moment, just looking at the stars for a while.

"Do you come to the roof often Ember?" she asked.

She had a feeling that she did, and Jolin could easily understand why, with all the peace and beauty that existed here. She wondered for a moment what abilities Ember had, and then decided that this was not the time to be thinking about stuff like that. This was just a time for relaxing.

She wanted to go over to the boy and talk to him, he seemed troubled by something, but she was certain that he wanted to be left alone at the moment,

"Well lately yes. I don't know I guess I just find the roof so beautiful and peaceful. What about you? Do you come up here often, Jolin?" Ember gazed out into the night sky, spotting astrilogical esigns in teh stars such as Aries and Gemini.

She glanced over to Tsim, who still kept his distance, hanging over the rail. He looked as though he was upset; and Ember wanted to help. She always wanted to help. She had an urge to call him over and ask him to join her and Jolin, but she kept quiet. Maybe a little later, let him be alone.

Jolin smiled at Ember's question. It was her first day to the school after all.

"This is my first time up here actually. But I imagine I will be coming here a lot, yes."

She closed her eyes and let her hair return back to black. She saw Ember look over at the boy.

"Is he someone you know?" she asked.

Ember tilted her head. "Oh really? Well, anytime you feel like coming back up here, give me a call. I'd lvoe to join you."

Ember watched as Jolin's hair switched from white to black. "Why does your hair change color, may i ask?"

"I don't know him...but i've run into him before. He doesn't say much. Actually he doens't really speak, and i don't know why. Though i've always wwondered." Ember said with a sigh, still glancing over at Tsim.
