"I mean, it is your choice." said Ian calmly, "I don't want you to feel like you have to go." Ian tryed to think of something else to say to start a better conversation.

"No it's ok, I want to stay." Kacey said and added, "It's....It's nice here." She liked the surrounding, it was very peacefully and reminded her of the summer house near the lake she use to live in.

"Yeah, that is why I am here." Ian said as he moved his hand through his hair again. "I think it is one of the nicest places around here." Ian took another rock from the floor and skipped it.

"I haven't seen to many places here." Kacey admitted as she thought of the other places she had been that she liked. "But I think is it the nicest too." She agreed.

"You have a point, I can't say I have seen too many either." Ian looked up at the moon and blinked a few times. "The sky is really clear tonight." he said as he shifted his gaze from the sky down to Kacey.

"I wonder if it's like this all the time, the sky I mean." She said to Ian, looking up at the sky. "So Ian what can you do?" Kacey asked referring to his powers, if he had any.

"Umm..." Ian thought. He was a little ashamed of himself and didn't honestly feel like answering the question. "I...I...don't have any.." he said. "Or at least none that I know of.." he said looking down at the floor in front of him.

"Sorry I've made you uncomfortable." Kacey said regretting what she had asked him. "I think having none is better." She said truthfully to him. "It's better that way for sure."

"It is okay. I did not mind telling you that, I just find that sometimes people with powers think it is weird or something, but I do not see the need for them." Ian took a rock in his hand, "Although, I have always been interested in telepathy." said Ian as he spun the rock inbetween his fingers pretending he was doing with with his mind. He threw the rock out into the lake. 1...2...3...4...5...6...7...wow, new record, he thought to himself as the rock sank about 70 ft out.

Kacey looked at him, "Why would you want to sense someone else's emotions. Doesn't that bother people?" Kacey asked, she would know because she had that power and she noticed people didn't like others to know what they are feeling.
