Myrrh tried to not look excited as students spilled into the power gymnasium for flight class. It was obvious, however, that he was excited. For starters he was paying attention, and secondly, his couldn't stop flexing and spreading his wings. He would deny it to his dying breath, but Myrrh showed many of his emotions through his wings. Much in the same way a dog expressed itself through it's tail and ears. Which was probably why Myrrh adamantly denied it. Class began and the teacher announced that they will work in groups of two to complete an aerial obstacle course.
Various flight lanes were set up, each with a course for students to fly through. The teacher explained that today's lesson was to practice aerial agility and flight control while building speed. They were to fly through their course multiple times, with the goal of improving speed and control. Myrrh very nearly let out a whoop of joy. Not only were those his best areas but he also go to show off to a partner? Heck yeah! The teacher then paired them off and Myrrh was placed with a kid named Remiel. The name sounded familiar, but Myrrh couldn't place why until he saw his partner.
"Oh hey, you're that stuck up angel, aren't you?" Myrrh said by way of greeting.
