Micah walked into the class fifteen minutes late like he owned the place. He was dressed in clashing pastels with is hair dyed an outrageous orange color. He wasn't even sure what this class was. Was this a powers class? Shit, he loved power classes. He was baller at powers. The best around one might even say.

He saluted to all of his classmates. "What up bitches, how ya'll doing today?!"

The looks he got from his classmates were priceless--a mix of agitation, resignation and fear for what kind of hell he was seconds away from bringing upon them. He laughed--god he loved this school.

It was a shame that the people here didn't love him back.

He gave the teacher a three finger salute and hopped on the desks, jumping on each one and knocking over his classmate's papers until he got to the desk nestled safely in the corner towards the windows. This was his preferred seat, because it made him feel like an anime character that stared forlornly out at the courtyard when the class inevitably descended into boredom town.

He hopped into his seat and folded his hands, giving the teacher the cheesiest smile he could muster.

"Micah Lopez--PRESENT!"

He had been in the middle of his introduction, the tall young man that taught the class was at the board pointing to a diagram of a person standing in the middle of a circle and arrow lines extending to the outskirts of the circle. He had been explaining about the range of every student being different and how that could be to a person's advantage. Professor Kitahara had started to go into the strength of each shadow controller when a student burst into the room. The muscle on the side of Draco's right temple twitched at the sudden interruption. The formation of irritation started to form on his face the emotion becoming more and more alive as the dark aura encircled the professor.

As the young man addressed the students as bitches his cheek twitched this time as the dark black aura enlarged just slightly radiating with anger. The piece of chalk in his hand snapped when the young man made his presence as here to the professor. In the next instance the aura disappeared with a blink of an eye and the professor smiled. If Micah had been here 15 minutes earlier he would have known this wasn't the professor's nice smile.

"Hello Micah...welcome to Shadow Controlling 101...class as I demonstrate...the abilities of shadow controlling..."

Draco placed a hand on the desk beside him and the shadow that casted from the desk was used as its source. The shadow itself grew darker and small hands erupted from it. It was solid in its nature and they reared back a little before darting forward weaving between the desk legs and chair legs that the students were sitting on. The little mini hands at the end made grabby motions as they sped towards Micah. A small devious like grinned appeared on the professors face as they wrapped around the young boys ankles and slithered up to wrap around the boys wrist. For a moment there was silence in the class and then a clatter as the boy was dragged from his desk onto the floor and towards the front of the classroom.

Micah seemed to stop right at Draco's feet and if he looked up the young boy would probably see the evil redness of the professors eyes and the whites of his teeth as the devious grin grew wider.

"Class I want to make clear with this demonstration...what happens when your late to my class...now after this we are going outside for a little practice run with our abilities."

He walked towards the window of the academy classroom and his hand reached up lifting the window. A cool breeze filled the room as the shadows lifted the young boy and maneuvered him out of the window and down towards the ground. If the boy thought Draco would just place him on the grounds outside, he was totally wrong. Instead the shadows dragged him to what looked like some random hook on the side of the school building and hooked the back part of his pants loop on it to leave him hanging and dangling perpendicular to the ground. The shadows retreated slithering along the walls now until they returned to the desk and the shadow of the desk finally returned to its normal transparent-like darkness.

"Alright class lets head outside."

As the shadows wrapped around him and dragged him from his seat, looking into the not nice smile of the teacher, all Wrath was thinking was that he was going to like this class. He was going to like this teacher! When he was brought in front of him to observe his smile, Micah just smiled back with no hint of fear or worry.

He'd seen worse. He'd seen scarier. Heck, he'd probably eaten scarier people. The boy chuckled and would have waved to his classmates if he wasn't being carried outside like a sack of potatoes and hung by the back of his pants like wet laundry being hung out to dry.

For a moment, Wrath looked out at the courtyard and all the people that looked up at him. He gave them a wave before his body vanished with a pop, reappearing at the open window, arms resting on the sill and his feet planted firmly on the clean white brick. A strange scent wafted into the classroom--it stank of lemons and burning coals. The boy seemed completely unaware of the smell as he bobbed up and down.

"SO TEACH!" he said with a voice several octaves too loud, and a grin several centimeters too wide. "What are we doin' outside huh? We hanging people on fish hooks or something, because I can totally do that."

Micah seemed to climb up the window, his hands gripping on the upper lip of the window, while his sneakers rested inside the actual window track.

"Or, like... are we just using scare tactics or something? Enlighten me. What's the lesson plan or.... whatever?"

The point was given some of the students that were thinking of shenanigans were not except for what seemed like the class clown. The students filed out onto the field and Draco would glance at Micah and patted his head a tad bit harder then normal.

"Mr. Kitahara, not teach...show some respect boy."

The teacher would make them spread out having at least a decent amount of space between each students. Standing before them he grinned and little hands like the ones that had grabbed Micah started to slither within his own shadows.

"So this is what we're practicing today. I want you to try and manipulate your shadows as far out as possible."

It took a while to get as wide a radius as he did but then again they weren't all the same race as his. Most would get about half of the radius as he does but it was whatever.

Micah gave a loud laugh as his head was patted harder than he thought. He pushed back against the teacher's hand with more aggression, almost hopping into the air.

"Mr. Teach!" Wrath said insistently, the smile on his face still perfectly in place as he watched the man manipulated his shadow into a wide circle around him, grabby hands once again appearing. The temporal demon laughed and settled into his stance.

Wrath was a temporal demon, a creature from beyond this dimension's comprehension. But another name for his species was 'Shadowfiend'. Wrath was literally shadows, and to an extent, he had the power to become like a shadow.

The problem was the fact that he was bound to a mortal body, that couldn't use shadows as effectively as himself. It was harder than he thought to make contact with the shadows from inside of his fleshy prison. His shadow undulated and shook like a wave, parts and tendrils of his shadow lashing out before shrinking back into his shadow. The tendrils could lash out decently far, but ricocheted back almost hard enough that it knocked Wrath off balance.

"Hey, what the fuck?"

He watched the students movements, the ability to use their shadow abilities. Each had a small distance until he watched Micah. The young man seemed to have some difficulties controlling it. As though he sent out a little ripple of a shadow before it came back and slapped him silly. He walked towards the boy and stood before him. If this continued he would have to figure out how to correct the boys methods in controlling. He didn't know that the boy was a shadow of himself.

"Micah...your cursing...stop it..."

He said reaching forward and grabbed the shirt of the tipping Micah. He righted the young man and took a step back crossing his arms and spreading his legs a little to give himself balance.

"Try concentrating on moving your shadow a little bit, but not far. Imagine that the shadow is an extension to yourself and send it forward that way. Stop at my feet."

For the first time since entering the class, Wrath didn't smile at the teacher, he instead gave him a frustrated glare. It was clear that he didn't really understand the problem that the demon was having, the frustration that you have all of this power, but you can't use it because you're trapped within a hellish prison of blood and flesh.

He glanced at the professor and scoffed, focusing down at his shadow. His stance was different from the teachers, instead of legs wide apart and down towards the earth, which would have maximized the amount of shadow he had to work with, Micah was standing with his feet straight and close together, which made it easier to push his shadow-like essence into the ground itself.

Hands out in front of him, and with his own self manning the reigns directly, it opened up much more smoothly. It did undulate and shake with inelegance , but it was better than before.

As the shadow expanded past the teachers feet, because he was nothing if not stubborn, it reached out further and further until--

SNAP!!

it was the sound of a rubber band breaking when his shadow immediately rushed back to him with enough force that in a moment he was face down in the dirt and he could hear laughing.

Micah snarled as he pushed himself into a kneeling position. His legs were shaking.

He found the boy struggling to over achieve. What was instructions were ignored and Draco wasn't sure what to tell the boy. He kept doing that and the boy might end up knocking himself out. When the boy glared at him he raised his brow.

"Did you just glare me boy?"

He narrowed his brow and watched him try again this time passing his feet and snapping back and knocking him to his knees. He kept his arms crossed there and wondered what would happen if a fight broke out. Probably not a good thing and the headmaster would probably yell at him for it. Instead he thought of ways to help the boy.

"Concentrate! You should probably spread your legs a little...you might not hit the ground so easily by your own shadow."

Some of the kids snickered nearby, though they couldn't extend it too far, they weren't being beaten up by their own shadows. He spread his legs a little this time waiting on the boy to try again. He wanted to push back this time. The snickering and giggling from the other kids ceased when Draco glanced their way. All they saw was the deep dark abyss of death through Draco's eyes but when he turned to look at Micah again they were a calm light brown color.

"Hit my Micah...hit me with your shadow...as hard as you can."

A smirk as small little black hands danced in 3D around his own waiting to see if the boy was going to do as he asked this time.

"Yeah I did, what of it?" He muttered as he pushed himself up and immediately fell back onto his knees. His legs were shaking so much that they weren't really supporting his weight. Actually, Wrath wasn't sure if he could feel his legs at all right then.

At the mention that he should spread his legs more for the purposes of balance, Micah had to keep himself from rolling his eyes. If his legs were spread apart he might not fall over, but it meant that he also wouldn't be able to manipulate his shadow with any degree of ease. It would be a struggle just to touch it.

He'd foun this teacher really amusing when he'd used his shadow as a weird punishment device, but at that moment he was just annoyed.

Didn't Mr. SmartGuy understand that that wouldn't work for him? Couldn't he sense that he was different?

Or was his head too far up his own ass?

It was five minutes later when Micah actually managed to stand, ignoring his advice and once again standing with legs together and straight. He pushed himself down, felt his consciousness draining like water from a tap, all focused into his shadow, which lashed out the teacher, taking the pointed and rounded shape of a lance.

"Then perhaps i'll let you drain of power and pass out in front of your colleagues...perhaps that will take some of your attitude away. But knowing your bounciness you won't..."

His hand lifted and one of the hands threaded into the air and merely knocked the lance made shadow from his direction. He had his own way of controlling things but he had no idea that Micah was made of the shadow itself. If that were the case then he would probably have assigned the boy a partner. Being of shadows and having someone controlling it for you or helping you to would have been much easier.

"Micah stop. Your going to kill yourself exhausting your energy...class dismissed for today I will see you all tomorrow."

He stood there watching as one after the other the students filed out off the field. He stood there even more watching Micah to see if he left or not.

"Micah, are you a shadow controller or are you a shadow?"
