Sunset on the Shore

[color=336666]Mica leaped up on the boulder closest to him, fixing a quizzical stare on the boy. "You're very flat." She informed him, forgetting the english word. "All..." Her hands darted in the air a few seconds as she tried to explain, and she finally sighed. "Very steady. Is that right?" [/color]

[color=336666]Light furrows appeared in Mica's forehead, and she chewed on her lip for a moment in thought. "You aren't frightened by things." She nodded, shifting her eyes off him to the ocean. She didn't know why she'd even bothered saying it... [/color]

[color=336666]Mica puffed her chest up in importance, nodding over at him in a way she hoped looked like the motion all the humans did. "Neither am I." She announced, although her knees were still feeling quivery from the fright of touching a human.[/color]

[color=336666]Mica blushed, kicking her feet back and forth sheepishly. "Only of humans. Besides, all you humans get scared of me sometimes, 'specially when I sing." [/color]

[color=336666]Mica stared at him, head cocked to one side as she considered this. "Humans can hurt you." She finally said, gray eyes shining with conviction. "You'll hurt me when you get mad." Maybe what he was saying is that he doesn't get mad... If he's not afraid of her, then why should he be mad? Mica frowned at the idea, waiting to see if he'd say that was the case. [/color]
