"Cool! Anyways, I promised I would meet up with Amelia." He lied, he hadn't but he did need to get away. It was so awkward to him. "Peace. See ya sometime."

His eyes looked at the city, he needed to do something so that they wouldn't see him. Valentine looked at his clock. Three thirty, it wasn't all that bad of a time to go for a lunch dinner.

"C'mon, Vivien! There's got to be more than just that!"Ember said with a smile. "What type of books do you like to read? What do you like to do for fun?"

Ember looked over at the boy, who was now leaving. Ember was suspicious, but ignored it, he gave her an odd feeling anyway. "Okay, bye."

Vivien laughed. "Bye!" she called.

"I read pretty much anything. Right now, I'm into Dante's Inferno. And I like to go to the beach or shop for fun. That's basically my life in a nutshell."

"I've heard of that book, is it any good? Well, I love shopping too, but I doubt that's your whole life ina nutshell. Maybe your hobbies, but not your life. You're new here, right? So tell me how you got here." Ember asked. She was always a curoius one to know about others, which got her into trouble a few times, for appearing too nosey. but she's tried to cut down on it.

She tilted her head and adjusted teh beach bag the sat on her shoulder. "Yes, it is good. And as for how I got here, it's a logn story that ends with me taking all of the blame and getting kicked out of boarding school. How did you get here?"

"Well, I do have time, so if you wouldn't mind, how about telling me the story?" Ember suggested. She loved listening to people, her parents always thought that she should've been a psychiatrist. "Well fo me, my parents wanted me to fit in with other people like me, so they thought that going here would be the perfect opportunity.

Vivien smiled. "You're parents sound really loving and understanding." She sighed and sat back down. "My story starts with my birth parents. My mother died in child birth or slightly after, no one's ever really told me and I never cared to know the details. My father was happiest when he had nothing to do with me. I was adopted at the age of four by these people who cared about me and gave me everything they could think of, but never really cared what I did."

"So, anyway," she continued, "they sent me to this boarding school. I fell in love with this guy who I thought loved me back and well, he didn't, so I set fire to his desk using my power and well...I uh, burned down the school. And I got sent here."

"Oh, wow," Ember said. She had no idea Vivien's life was so sad. "Well I'm sorry about everythig that happened. I set fire to part of my school too." ember said with a smile. "At least the good thing is that you're here now, where people do care about you. You have fire power? Awsome, me too!" ember smiled, finding out that Vivien was also a pyro.

"Really?" Vivien asked, genuinely relieved that someone else here had the same power...and had set fire to part of their old school.

"Yeah," Ember laughed. "I had burned down the Gym...my P.E. teacher had really ticked my off, so I did it out of revenge. Did you burn donw the entire school? Or just parts of it?"
