"Yea true. Well, there will be someone out there to hug you when you feel down and to share the rest of your life with in the future." He shrugged and continued to talk, looking out at the sun.

She was there beside him.

Ember shrugged and said, "Yeah, i hope so. That's what everyone says." Ember knelt down and began grabbing handfulls of sand and letting it run through her fingers to occupy her hands.

"So, what's your power?" She asked him, an attempt for some more small talk.

"My powers? Um, glass manipulation I guess." He shrugged, it was the only thing he could really do. Fling, bend, and mold glass. He looked around, wondering what was so good about this day. For some reason, he just felt the ground pull down upon him as the sn pushed. He was just so compelled to jsut lie down.

"Glass manipulation? That's really cool. I've always wanted to make things out of glass," Ember commented. "Mine's fire...if you hadn't already guessed." Ember laughed. She spread out her legs and laid back, relaxing in the sand. "You wanna join me down here?"

He grew uneasy as she mentioned fire. He always hated and was afraid of fire. He hesitated and then realized he couldn't join her. "Sorry, can't. For some reason my hands seem to get cut whenever they meet with the sand. I have no idea why though." Valentine liked the beach, her quiet and cerene self, but she was always so kind, but so brutal to him.

"Oh," Ember said, with a hint of disappointment. "Okay, no problem." She laid back on her elbows, looking out towards the horizon, then shifted her position up right and hugging her knees.

Ember didn't look up at the guy, but watched him through her pereferil vision, as he just stood there. She didn't know what to do or talk about next. "So......." Ember began, before finally thinking up a decent question. "What do you like to do on your spare time?"

Vivien felt as though she was the third wheel. Smiling, she gathered up her towel. Making up a lame excuse ("Oh, gosh! It's so late! I have to go into town...") she excused herself, leaving these two alone.

He felt as though he wasn't paying enough attention to her. Valentine had been there, and had done that only a little while ago. It seems that it was very frustrating. "I don't know, mostly make art. What about you, Viv?" He wondered, wanting just as much to get out of here.

They both just made him feel so awkward. He started to look in his pocket and smiled, not taking out the figurine.

Ember watched as Vivien began to pack her things and head out. She could tell she was feeling eft out, and Ember knew that feeling very well. "Vivien, wait!" Called out to her. Ember got p form the sand and ran up to Vivien. "I know i haven't really talked to you, so please, tell me about yourself," Ember asked, giving her a wholesome, friendly smile.

Ember looked back a t the guy and said, "I'm an artist too." commenting on what he liked to do, but then turned her attention back to Vivien, waiting for an answer.

Vivien smiled genuinely. "It's okay, I don't mind. There really isn't much to tell you about myself. I like to read, I can't draw stick figures....that's about it I guess."
