Vivien took her towel and set it up far enough from the waves that she wouldn't get wet. She smiled. It was fall, but it was one of those rare warm days - and her last chance to nap on the beach. It was so peaceful - the waves lapped at the beach and other students were playing volleyball. Maybe she'd meet some new friends here.

A boy with eye length dyed red hair and black eyes came onto the beach apparelled with a light jacket, some pants and a t-shirt. He smiled as he looked at the sun, blessing him so much.

He continued to walk towards the water, wanting to at least wet his feet. His black shoes were palnted somewhat near to her towel, and as he walked, he had accidentally brushed some sand on Vivien.

Vivien sat up. "Hey!" she said, more playful than angry. Though, you know, still angry. Her temper was pretty bad.

She smiled, forgiving him instantly. He had beautiful red hair. "What's your name?" she asked. "I don't recall seeing you around..."

"Umm..." Wow, she was really friendly. Almost really perky. He didn't hate it, then again, he hadn't known her. "The name is Valentine, and really if you don't hang around at the art room, you probably won't see me. How come you're laying down like that, it's freezing!" He was more curious than inquisitive.

He just wanted to think of her more. Then again it was good to have friends, he guessed. HE laughed lightly. I'm going to have a fiance in less than half a year...sheesh...

Vivien sighed. "Well, that makes sense then. I'm really not much of an artist, and I don't have many friend here, so I've never really had a reason to go to the art room." She wondered why he was laughing. "I guess it's a little cool, but I don't mind. I just want to make summer last longer, I suppose. Plus, I love teh beach." She grinned absent-midedly, as if her thoughts were a million miles away.

Ember had looked out at the sky, and saw that it wasn't hot nor that cold, so she decided to visit the sea. She had put on her black skirt and black Gir tank top with her high tops and began ehr walk. She had never really been to the sea before, since she was a fire bender, water made her sizzle and faint, if she wasn't careful.

She overheard some light voices nearby, so she decided to go and check it out. She found a guy and a girl talking. the girl was laying down and appearing to be sunbathing. At firsts, Ember thought What is this girl, crazy? But then she understood why she'd be sunbathing at a time like that, to get the most out of the end of summer.

"Hi," She said, walking up to the two of them. "I'm Ember, are you guys new?"

"Hm?" He turned to Ember and looked at her. His thoughts were , If I don't get out of here fast, things will probably get awkward.

"Hello, and yea, I'm new to the school. How'd you know that we were new?" He raised an eyebrow, his eyes looking to the beach. He still wondered why the other girl was sunbathing.

They are both crazy. No one just goes up to people without incentive and no one just sunbathes in the middle of October!

Ember couldn't help but give a light laugh. "I didn't know, that's why i asked. So, what's your name?"

Ember pulled back her hair and tied it into a low ponytail, letting it flow over her shoulder. She looked from the boy to the girl who was still sunbathing. She kept wondering about it, but realized that it wasn't her business and why should it matter that she is? She turned her attention bakc the the boy. "So, how long have you been here?"

He was starting to get mad. There was no reason for her to act that way to him. Creep! He kind of snarled as he said, "About a month, alright!?" He turned his attention down, followed by the sea.

Ember could tell that somehow she had upset him in some way. She believed it was because of the way she talked to him, she must've slipped in some sarcasm accidentaly. "Listen," She said. "I'm sorry if i upset you, in some manner. I didn't mean to and i have to reason to."

Ember gave a small friendly smile. "I've been here about a month too." She followed his eyes from the floor to the sea., then brought her look back to him "I'm sorry."
