In the upper part of the city nearby the academy campus, there is a decently sized cafe. It's a brand new building designed to look like a giant, hollow cake. The place is baby pink with winter white trimmings and accents galore; a front deck is attached to the business and features a chocolate brown wood floor, several small tables meant for pairs, and a protective roof reminiscent of strawberry frosting and whipped cream. The tables and chairs are modern designs with a caramel-colored table and white chairs with red cushions. The words "Sugarpop Cafe" is laced in red on the awning and is on a large white sign with red letters and chocolate trim hanging at the top. As you approach, you are hit with the immediate smell of fresh coffee and baked sweets.

Inside, the walls alternate between pink and white while the floors and counters are all chocolate brown. The tables vary in size and amount of seats, but they are all dark caramel and mocha round tables with a swirl design that looked distinctly similar to cinnamon buns. Giant winter white teacup-shaped chairs with comfortable, mocha-colored cushioning circle each table. On the far sides of the space and up against the walls are booth seats for those looking for more privacy. The booths give the look of square-shaped cake pieces and feature very comfortable, cushioned seats big enough to hold about six humanoid creatures to a table. The restrooms are located in the back right corner of the cafe. They're split between male, female, and non-binary.

In the very center of the cafe is a giant circle counter. There's glass display cases filled with various food. The display is split three ways: baked goods, sandwiches, and ice cream. Hanging from the roof is the menu in enlarged text. However, workers will provide a menu upon request. Drinks are made behind the counter and in full view of everyone. An elevator sits in the middle with four pickup windows on each corner of it; the elevator is how you get to the kitchen and staff-only areas. Food orders are sent up through the pickup window. All registers except for the one on the front right side are open for ordering. The front right side is exclusively for pickups.

Ordering works in one of three ways:
  1. You wait on line as necessary and place your order with the cashier. They ring up your order and you pay. You wait patiently and get your order in a few minutes. If it's a large order, you'll be asked to hang out by the pickup side of the counter.
  2. There are tablets on each table with a digital version of the menu. You add what you want into the cart and press submit when you're done. If you're paying with credit or debit card, then you will put it into the machine to pay. If you're paying with cash, then someone will come over to accept the cash and give you change back. Either way, someone will deliver your full order to the table, drinks first then food second.
  3. Before even getting there, you can place an order from your phone or computer using the official website. You choose the pickup time and if you're going to pay online or pay in person. Then you show up around whatever time you set and get your order at the front right side of the counter. If you select pay in person, then you will be asked to pay before you get your order.
Word has it Abia Defan, the owner, is working on a delivery option for the cafe. For now, above are the ways to get stuff at the cafe. The overall intent is to have a comfortable place that attracts college students and beyond.

To those more savvy, the cafe does not have a special pie room. It is a completely innocuous business. If you ask any of the employees about a special selection, they will stare at you in utter confusion.
