'Cutie' was one way to call him. Hari chuckled lightly, finding the toast incredibly charming. For someone that dressed like a rebel, he was quite the gentleman. "It fluctuates now and then, but here's hoping it lasts for a while."

Hari nodded as Sid talked, turning his attention back to the tattoo on his arm, though he couldn't help but laugh when his ears moved. "It matches your grin!" he said, laughing, before moving to his usual casual and vaguely serious mode.

"It might not have a meaning when you got it, but meaning isn't a strictly 'past' happening, and you might get attached to it in the future for a special reason." He nodded. "Besides, there's still plenty of skin around if you want one that's pretty deep. That's the fun thing about memories. They won't stop coming for as long as you live."

He really should stop reading emotional fiction pieces and philosophy. Moving to a more casual topic, he tilted his head to the cake. "You haven't tasted our best seller, yet."

Rayn - Customer
A tall woman, a very tall woman walks into the cafe demanding for a coffee. "Wench, give me a caramel mocciatto with 2 shots of espresso with whip cream actually make it iced with skim, fat free milk sugar and 5 pumps of caramel an I FREAKING SWEAR if I taste even a single lick of fat I will be shoving this down your throat!" She sat at a table near the window and she wore nothing but blue, blue hair, blue shirt, blue jeans except a black jacket and black heels. If she didn't come in yelling you would possibly think she was normal despite the fact she made you dread the colour blue. "Oh and can I get a cookie around here like... chop freaking chop."

Waiter: Sarah Dretre (2pm - 6pm)
Sarah was a very shy girl who didn't talk to anybody and barely had friends. She was unbearably clumsy and always made mistakes. Her parents told her she had to make friends and get out the house so why not get paid for it, she'd rather be in a smaller scene with less people but sadly beggars can't be choosers. "O... Oh, coming right up ma'am!" Sarah rushed to make the mocciatto for she could tell by the woman's voice and gait that she would not tolerate waiting a long time. Sarah kept getting confused with what she asked for and she didn't want coffee all over her so she kept doing it over and over and over again.

"What's taking so long!" Rayn yelled from across the cafe. "And don't forget my cookie!" "C... c... coming right up ma'am just one more second. Sarah finally got the order right with her cookie. Sarah is half way to Rayn when she trips spilling the coffee and dropping the cookie. She just sits there in the mess she made.

Hari Takahiro —> Rayn

Hari was about to end his shift. He was at the backroom changing back to his normal outfit, adjusting his jewelry — when he heard a scream and a crash.

Mrs. Nice opened the door to alert him and he was already out before she could open her mouth.

Hari wasn't well-acquainted with this new waitress, but he helped her out and pulled her back to her feet. He told her, gently, to clean up the mess she made while he was going to deal with the rowdy customer.

In his interview, he told Mr. and Mrs. Nice he could act as security if things get intense. It was a cafe, so they told him it wouldn't be needed. But things changed, he supposed, and he was going to deliver what he promised.

Hari approached the blue-haired girl, attempting to make nice. He flashed her a smile that's made girls swoon. "Good afternoon, miss. Here at Everything Nice, we wish to foster a pleasant atmosphere for all of our customers. We are here to serve you to the best of our ability and we work hard for you to have a good time." He paused, his smile melting into something more serious. "But we do not tolerate blatant disrespect to our staff. If you wish to make an order, please try again, in the same respectful tone that we give you or leave the establishment immediately."

Mz'sid So-kijak —> Hari

Man, the more Sid talked to this guy, the more he was convinced that he was worthy of being called a cutie through and through. He had a cute face, and a cute mannerism all about him. It was a little annoying that he was clearly so much taller than him, but at this point he was used to it. He was honestly used to seeing people whom he could only describe as cute and having them be taller than him.

Didn't make them any less cute.

He could appreciate cuteness in all its many heights.

"Yeah, I guess you're right. I'm just not sure if I'll know when the right moment to get a tattoo of a memory put on my bod. I mean, I've had a few good ones, but nothing I'd tat on."

Sid picked up the fork and went about cutting a piece and sampling the strawberry shortcake as he talked. "S'like, people get tats to commemorate relationships and stuff, but I don't think I'd ever get a tattoo for something like--this is delicious."

The drow interrupted himself as he tasted the strawberry shortcake, the heavy lightness of the cream, the slight tartness of the strawberries--it was definitely a worthwhile buy.

"I can see why that one's a best seller."

Hari Takahiro —> Mz'sid So-kijak

"I think it's just the sort of thing you'll know when it comes. It might feel like an impulse, but when you get it, it'll feel right."

It seemed like most important things in his life were made by 'impulse'. It was ironic considering he prided himself on being an organized planner.

Hari had to cover his mouth to suppress an almost squeal-like laugh. Sid's face when he ate it was nothing short of priceless. He nodded. "Yes, it is. It's Mrs. Nice's special recipe. I don't know what she puts in there, but they tend to knock other strawberry shortcakes out of the park. Do you like sweets very much?"

Rayn Lyon - Hari

Rayn looked up at the man dead in the face. She rolled her eyes. "She fell... and... what am I supposed to do about that?" She shrugged her arms and went back to what she was doing. She couldn't believe that this.. this... boy tried to threaten her. The audacity of some people. "But since I'm feeling a little nice I'll say my order again... a fat free a caramel mocciatto with 2 shots of espresso with whip cream actually make it iced with skim, fat free milk sugar and 5 pumps of caramel and a cookie. And make it quick because I have places to be." She said it as if she was speaking to a young child. "Service these days..." She... sorta whispered.

Sarah Dretre - Hari

After a man helped her up after being such a klutz. He told her to go clean herself up an to clean up the mess she made. She immediately turned around from embarrassment and went to get a mop. She gets a mop and the bucket and comes back out to mop up. She did it as fast as she could so that no one would pay a lot of attention to her. She put a caution sign up and immediately went to the back.

She got a wet cloth and started wiping her shirt and face. "I CANNOT believe I did that! I am so clumsy." She stood there with her head down.

Rayn -> Hari Takahiro

Well, she wasn't causing trouble anymore, upgrading herself from "threat" to "annoying customer." He flashed her a smile that would've been sweet if it reached his eyes. "As you wish."

He headed to the back of the counter, relayed the order to the barista who was, also, notably annoyed, and stuffed everything in a doggie bag. He placed everything on the table along with the bill, which had an additional 50% addition service charge that Mrs. Nice insisted on. Hari just wanted her to leave as soon as possible, really. "Here you go, madame. Please enjoy."

Sid tended to have a problem with the whole 'you'll know when its right even if it feels like impulse' thing, because he only ever did anything on impulse. Nothing he'd ever done in his entire life had been accomplished through meticulous planning. He woke up one day and decided to stick a sterilized bit of metal through his ear and that escalated to him running away from home and having a face full of metal. He'd decided he'd try drugs one time and now he has a few cups of LSD with his morning pancakes.

He wasn't sure if he was impulsive of excessive.

Probably both.

"Yeah, but everything I do is from impulse." He admitted, taking another bite of this delicious cake. "It'll be hard for me to tell the meaningful impulses from the fun ones."

Another bite of cake.

"I love sweets," he admitted. "People seem to think that's funny given how I look and act but hey--sugar is tasty."

She walked over to the counter. "Thank you." She makes a quick cheesy smile and immediately goes back to a frown. She takes the bag almost snatching it. "Finally, it's done." She tastes it. She holds it in her mouth almost spitting it out making the most unpleasant face she could. "Firstly it's room temperature and I specifically asked for iced." She said almost yelling. "Is it so hard..." She said it regularly. "Is it so hard." She said getting louder. "I.... " She said stopping herself. "I just wanted an iced coffee could you please just make it colder." She said it through gritted teeth that if we're gritted any more her teeth would break.

Her hair started flowing blazingly around while she tried to put a smile on her face. By this point you may be wondering... 'Why now out of all times has she started being nice?' Because it's the only coffee place near the campus. Not that flying a mile or two isn't bad but it's just she doesn't want everybody in the school to hate her, she wants to make some friends it's just that... it's complicated...

She took the cookie out the bag and bit it. "Ouch!" The cookie was hard and dry. "And can I have a cookie that won't break a molar please!" She threw the cookies in the air and started slicing it into small crumbs that you could barely see. Rayn felt a little better but she had to hold her anger in because honestly at this point she can't release it because if she does there may be a possibility that this place would be underwater.

She looked at the bill. "50% extra?! I refuse to pay this. It shouldn't cost this much to put a fake smile on your face and say 'How May I assist you today' or 'have a nice day'?" "I refuse to pay this or for anything until you people get my order right!" She started floating with her legs crossed as if sitting in a chair with her hair flailing around uncontrollably.

Waitress: June Orwell (Shift 4PM-8PM)

Tonight was just another day for work. June had been working for a while and he certainly loved the cafe. It wasn't as wildly active as he always wanted things to be but it's atmosphere put him at ease. And he loved the attention he got from boys and girls a like. June was just a few minutes early for his shift, just as he usually does. He needed to be in his best and being tardy was inexcusable.

June glided out of the employee's lounge in the waitress's uniform and he could feel gazes on him. He saw a group of boys looking enchanted and gave them a wink. He saw their flustered reactions as he made his way by the counter to wait for orders.

Waiter: Hal Dionne (Shift 10AM-2PM)

Hal could not believe he was late for work. And on his first day at that. He was worried for whoever had recommended him to work there. The last time he came to the cafe, he wasn't able to catch that person. He still wanted to thank them. Hal somehow found out that he was placed in the same shift as them and Hal would have taken that opportunity to talk to that person but alas, he was late.

Hal zoomed straight to the get changed to his uniform. It has been quite a while since he'd worn anything as formal and it almost felt uncomfortable. But also, at home. Hal pat cheeks to shake the thought away and wordlessly walked to the pastries with his head low on the floor. Hal sighed heavily.
