Adryan's eyes locked with Hah'en as she told her story. He couldn't even begin to fathom how it felt to take someone's life. He had never done it, and never intended to. Adryan was most definitely a lover not a fighter. And a thief.
He finished off the last of his drink and placed the glass back on the table. Before looking back to Hah'en.
"I can't even imagine what that was like. I also can't imagine what that took to share. Especially to a petty thief."
A smile came on his face that showed genuine appreciation. That was also the moment that Nux erupted in his head causing Adryan to rub his forehead to try to focus.
"Nux said he feels bad for earlier and wants to share a story with you. I'm not letting him out again unless you wanna hear it."

Hah'en felt slightly nauseous after sharing her story, though she didn't show it on her face. It wasn't because of the alcohol, it was her mind punishing her for breaking the rules she had carved onto her very core. Never share personal stories. Never let anyone see your sorrow. Never let yourself be emotionally vulnerable. Those rules had helped Hah'en stay alive, but now that she could afford, at least a little bit, to loosen up and open up her mind still refused.

But now Hah'en had repayed a story with a story. Adryan still didn't know she was a dragon, but now she knew she was a former assassin, and that she had killed many people. And yet...he didn't flinch away. Didn't look at her differently. That was the most baffling thing to Hah'en.
"You shared a piece of yourself, I shared a piece of myself. It was only fair."
Hah'en said with a matter-of-fact tone, retreating back into her shell. She needed it now, after being so open for so long. Too long. Hah'en, somewhere deep inside, hoped that Adryan wouldn't judge her for it, or be angered.

"Let him out, I want to hear what he has to say."
And Hah'en was also curious as to what kind of personality this demon actually was. He had called Hah'en "sweet stuff", which alone hadn't really given off the best first impression.

Adryan closed his eyes for a moment and then reopened them. He lowered his hand back to his side once the pounding in his head subsided.
"Well Hello again."
It was Adryan's voice, but very clearly different. Nux had control of his voice while Adryan kept control of everything else.
"Let me introduce myself correctly this time. I am Nuxxau. Or Nux for short. I am the demon rresiding in our buddy Adryan here and the reason he has the powers he does."
Adryan sat back in his seat getting comfortable with what was going on as Nux spoke.
"Figured you'd like to hear how him and I came to be together. Well he was out looking for my music box...."
Nux went off in a rather comedic fashion about how he had been trapped in the music box, Adryan opened it, and Nux began to play games with him making him think he was hearing voices in his head. To be fair he was. The whole story was told trying to bring about a laugh from Hah'en.

"Greetings."
Hah'en greeted the demon, who was talking with Adryan's voice. This was certainly a peculiar experience, but Hah'en tried her best to push aside the image she had of dark spirits. They clearly were not what Nux was. Nux, who was introducing himself and explaining his and Adryan's first meeting like a normal person would. Hah'en was so fascinated and in part weirded out by this that she didn't see the humour in the story, not until the very end. Nux managed to coax an amused huff and a smile out of Hah'en, both brought out by the alcohol in her system.

"That sounds very...Adryan."
Hah'en merely commented, the smile still on her face. She stood up and tapped the table with her finger.
"Ask him what drink he wants next, the third round is on me."

"You heard the pretty lady Adryan. What do you want next?"
Adryan thought in the silence of his own mind for a moment, his body mimicking by raising a hand to his chin to run it in thought.
"Really.... that... whatever..."
Adryan threw his hands up frustrated and then crossed them waiting for Nux to answer.
"Ok fine. Whiskey neat."
The drink was a simple one. Straight whiskey. If Nux was going to be out much more, Adryan was going to need something a bit stronger to drink.

Hah'en rolled her eyes subtly when she was called pretty lady, but otherwise she just waited patiently for Nux to relay Adryan's order. It seemed Adryan had the control over the body, Nux could only speak through him.

"Whiskey neat it shall be."
Hah'en answered, holding back a smile at the antics between the two, and headed to the bar. Hah'en had a tab here as well, and the drinks went automatically to that. Hah'en got a cosmopolitan for herself. Hah'en set the glass before Adryan/Nux and pulled her own closer, not yet drinking it. This drink was stronger than the previous ones and she should go slow on it.
"Hopefully you can still pace yourself with that drink order, Adryan."

Adryan's eyes widened a bit as if to say 'Im gonna need this.' He took the drink in one hand and sipped a small amount. The liquid warmed him all the way to his stomach. He let out a content sigh and looked back to Hah'en.
"He'll be fine. Trust me."
Adryan sat one hand on the table and slowly tapped his fingers on it. He was going to give Nux his time out to talk. At least until he got out of hand.
"So tell me. What are you? Cause you aren't human. Adryan might be too polite to ask. Or might not think that it matters that much because he likes you either way..."
Adryan dropped a heavy hand on the table.
"....but I'm interested. "

Trust an evil spirit? Hah'en simple lifted one of her brows delicately at Nux, but didn't comment further. Besides, even if she more or less knew Adryan she didn't know Nux, he was a stranger to her. And Hah'en didn't trust any stranger.

Nux was quite blunt, asking Hah'en's species so straightforwardly. Even Adryan seemed to have objections about that, judging from the hand he slammed against the table. Or then Adryan was embarrassed that Nux had said he liked Hah'en. Which really wasn't a surprise, Adryan wouldn't have stuck by Hah'en if he didn't like her at least on some level.
"I have, in fact, already revealed my species tonight."
Hah'en merely said and sipped her drink, peering at Adryan/Nux over the rim of her glass.
"I do not find it to be necessary to repeat information I have already shared."

Adryan narrowed his eyes and sat up slightly. His lips twisted as he thought a moment. Suddenly his eyes widened as he remembered what she said about stealing from a dragon. He pointed a figure to his head then to Hah'en them back to his head indicating he thought he figured it out.
"What? What did I miss? How?"
Nux and Adryan might share thoughts, but they could keep each other out when they wanted to. It was mainly Nux who did this to Adryan, so when the roles were reversed, the demon wasn't too fond of it.
"Fine. If you two wanna play cutesy, I'll leave you to it."
Adryan blinked a few times and then looked to the side of the table.
"Don't go away angry just go away."
Hazel green eyes looked back up to Hah'en and smiled.
"Sorry about him. Told you he was being extra today."

Looks like Adryan had been paying attention after all, since his gestures indicated that he had figured something out. That could not be said about Nux, however, as he just sounded confused. Hah'en hid a small smile behind her glass, as the demon essentially left in anger. Hah'en was so amused she didn't even mind being called "cutesy".

"No need for an apology. It was entertaining."
Hah'en answered and lowered her glass, revealing the amused smile she still had on her face.
"It was enlightening to see what kind of being dwells inside you. I feel like I understand things about you better now."
