A mischievous eyebrow raised at her statement. She should know better than to present him with a challenge. She knew how stubborn he could be and alcohol wasn't going to change that.
"Is that a challenge dear Hah'en?"
Adryan looked up after setting his glass down. The look that he saw coming from Hah'en was completely unexpected. It made him give a nervous smile as he debated with himself if she was serious or not. He remembered the last time he walked her home, though they were on a different level in their friendship now.
He blinked a few times to bring himself out of his internal debate and put on a full genuine smile.
"I'd love to."

Hiatus
"No, it's a fact."
Hah'en stated, meaning every word. She'd been affected by psychopaths and murderers and thieves that stole a lot more than just material objects. Adryan was none of those things, of that Hah'en was certain. In all honesty, Adryan was very tame compared to most people in Hah'en's past. She just hadn't seen that properly until recently.

Hah'en had been trying to make an attempt at a joke, to tease Adryan. He did it a lot to her, even if she was able to block such attempts with relative ease. Hah'en knew that Adryan had a habit of putting up a front, but right now it was very clear to see that said front was very much down. He wasn't suave or charming, not in the way he usually was. In the way that Hah'en found to be reminiscent of all the other petty thieves she had known in her life. Now he seemed genuine, and even uncertain, and Hah'en found that to be much more attracting than the persona Adryan usually showed, with only some of his true self sprinkled in. So, Hah'en found herself unable to tease Adryan when his reaction was so genuinely happy. The seductive expression did vanish, and was replaced with the smallest of smiles as she nodded.

"Let's go then."
Hah'en said, left a tip under her glass and headed to the door. This time as Adryan and Hah'en walked she would stop in front of her actual apartment building. A part of Hah'en's mind warned her to not trust Adryan with such information, but Hah'en was too drunk and there was another part of her that said that Adryan was trustworthy enough. Which part was right, Hah'en would decide in the morning.
