Christian Bennet "Tian" Kemberley
Christian smiled happily, gazing out across the fast approaching island. This was it... After days of ocean travel, he was almost at the Academy! Honestly, he was a bit nervous... What if this school was like his last?
Tian subconsciously rubbed his wrist, wincing as he rubbed a little too hard. It was healed - finally - but was still a bit sensitive... A shiver ran down the teen's spine at the memories the pain brought on, his smile faltering for a split second. No, he definitely did not want a repeat.
Christian shook his head, painting his smile perfectly back into place. Now was certainly not the time for all those negative thought. It was time for something new! Still, though, he couldn't help as his thoughts fell back onto his mother. How was she? Was she eating well? She didn't get hurt on her job, did she? Oh, and his dad... He hadn't been fired, right? No pay cuts? He hoped they weren't sick, or-
A sudden lurch of the boat nearly pulled Tian overboard, and he blinked quickly, coming back down to earth. The boat... had stopped! The teen immediately grabbed his two small suitcases (he didn't exactly have much to pack, now, did he?) and rushed across the deck to the exit of the boat. They had arrived! HE swore, if he wasn't in a completely new place, he would have screamed out, "LAAAND HOOO!"
A blinding smile pulled at Christian's cheeks as he lugged his luggage into the dock. "It's time~ to go~ to the a-CA~DE~MY~" he sang, though he did so quiet enough that he wouldn't be heard over the bustle and din of the boarding docks. All but racing down the bridge, he stopped a few steps away from the entrance to the boat, looking out across the small marketplace and forestry that wasn't all that far away. As he breathed in his first breath of Manta Carlos air, his smile widened even further... assuming such was possible.
It was time for a new beginning!
