Strange Fake

Titus was actually busier with scout business more than anything else lately. Between new recruits rolling in, and various missions being carried out he was practically overwhelmed. That said, he was a seasoned scout, one of the more senior extraction scouts he was used to these sorts of things popping up.
Today he was being introduced to one of their new recruits who was coming onto the team. First name was oddly familiar, but he figured there was a such thing as coincidences. He'd shrugged it off. This wasn't exactly formal, but he did like to get to know who he'd be potentially working with.
Titus was kicking back in his office after power training slightly singed, with a plate full of partially burnt cookies. This was almost nervous. The door was open just enough for visitors to know it was fine for them to just let themselves in.

It wasn't a common name, but Titus was willing enough to stop squinting at it for the moment. And then she walked into his office. It was a rare thing to actually catch Titus off guard in any respect. But this, this was on a whole different level. Anyone would be caught off guard at the sight of your nephew's deceased wife.

This was one of those times he cursed working in a no smoking facility, because he could really go for something. He smiled and remained composed. "Well, hello there. Cecete, correct?"

There was even more squinting from Titus. When she said his name that seemed to trigger well... something. Some kind of something. He was looking over her file again, specifically her abilities to see if there was something particular there. She was an angel. Fortunately he could conduct himself professionally and still get information he wanted out of this.

"Very well done chocolate chip," he answered casually. "So... I guess tell me about yourself. He said, leaning forward in his chair."
