Andrasta had made a few new posters. Next to one that said "End detention!" she was putting up a couple new ones. One of them said "More Parties!" It had an explanation printed under it: "It can be hard to make friends when you're new in the middle. With regular events that are meant to draw in new people, it should get easier. Plus, we'll all be having more fun. Vote Andrasta!"
Some of the teachers had apparently been implying that Andrasta was lying to them about her anti-detention stance, making crazy false promises to get their student council vote. But she was serious about it - more serious about it than even the student council thing, and more of the teachers were starting to recognize that. She had even gotten one of the scouts on her side, one Titus Drakenhardt. It was getting people to talk. That, in itself, was a victory. But she knew she couldn't just go all in on one issue that only affected the 'bad' kids.
A few students walked past her. "Keep it up, Andrasta!" one of them said. That guy was a frequent flier at detention. Andrasta turned around and smiled, raising a fist in the air. "We can win this!" she answered. Then she went right back to putting up her poster.
