Ember ignored Nesthora's comment and just rolled her eyes at the thing.

The girl lifted her face from beneath her arms that were now dripping with tears. Nitar had bent down beside Ember and was now hugging her saying she was sorry. Ember smiled and embraced the hug, it felt nice. "Don't be sorry...it's not like you knew or anything...."

She's right, I didn't know, but then... I don't know anything, she thought sadly, still hugging Ember. "Yes, I don't know, but I made you sad by saying that." Nitar said quietly.

"Someone's coming." Nesthora said in a panicky like tone.

Ember smiled at Nitar's compassion for making her sad, but she didn't want her to be. It's not her fault. "It's okay, I'm fine now...thanks to you."

Nesthora's comment alerted Ember immediatly, and she jerked up. She quickly wiped away her tears to clean up her vision, and let go of Nitar, standing up. "Really? I'm ready." She said, conjuring up a fire ball in her palm.

Nitar stood up after Nesthora had said something, and she was right, there was someone coming. She looked around seeing no one, then looked at the trail they had followed, and a tall figure was standing there, making no movements, just standing there, looking at them through orange eyes. Nitar held her sketch book close, the person who stood there in the shadows, slightly reminded her of the person in her sketch book.

Nesthora stayed where she was, the globe she was, just hovering there.

Ember looked around but failed to spot someone. She looked at Nitar and saw her spy something. She followed her gaze up the trail and there he was. Just standing there. Watching them. Watching them with orange eyes.

Ember held her ground and spoke loudly to the stranger. "Can we help you?" She said, there was a mean attitude in ehr tone. She didn't enjoy being watched.

The figure seemed to smile, when Ember spoke. And afterward he stepped out of the shadows, looking a lot younger then he did when he was in the shadows. Though he was tall, with almost orange hair, and glowing orange eyes, though there seemed to be a feint purple glowing in them also.

Nitar continued to watch the boy, and again she was reminded of the picture in the sketch book. Was it the same boy? Or just one who looked like him?

"Of course you can help me. By telling me why you are heading to Eldon's cottage." The boy said.

Nitar looked the boy over, and noticed he was wearing leather armor, and he had swords at his side. She shifted nervously, her eyes locked onto the weapons.

Ember was practically disgusted when that smile appeared across his face. But when he stepped out of the shadows and revealed himself, her eyes slightly widened. He looked exactly like the picture Nitar had shown her.

He asked them why they were heading towards Eldon's cottage. How did he know where they were heading.
"Eldon? We don't even know an Eldon." Ember lied. But she wasn't about to admit it, she wanted to find out a little bit about this boy they're run into."We're just taking a walk through the woods. Is that a problem?"She glanced over to Nitar to tell her to follow along for now, but with her eyes. Hopefully it would work.

"Yes, we are just taking a stroll... I see nothing wrong with that." Nitar said looking over at Ember a moment before staring at the boy again.

Smiling again, he continued to watch them with an amused look on his face. "I don't very much like liars... but, if you claim you don't know Eldon, I suggest you turn around and leave, or go off in another direction, Eldon does not like trespassers." He said, still slightly amused about something. He looked at Nitar, for a long moment, then his gaze went to the torch they had, and he smiled slightly.

"Its not safe out here, the might find you, and they will take you back, Nitar... both of you should leave, they will take both of you, and they will do more experiments..."

Nitar stood still, fear clenched at her. Experiments. Have someone done experiments on her before?

Now Ember was getting annoyed. Though the strange guy was right about her and Nitar both being liars, the thing that was most annoying was, in fact that weird, almost scary smile of his. He told them to go back because Eldon doesn't like trespassers, but Ember wasn't about to start going back. "We are not going to leave.Ember said standing her ground."And if Eldon doesn't like trespassers, he can say it to my face." She didn't like being told what to do so she wasn't going to leave, and she was hoping Nitar wasn't about to either.

Her eyes went wide as the guy spoke once more. Experiments? She looked over to Nitar with a slightly worried face, more about Nitar than herself. Who were they A small wave of fear washed over Ember, but she still wasn't about to leave because some stranger slightly threatened her.

Nervously, Nitar listened to the boy, and shivered slightly when he mentioned experiments. She stepped back, a bit frightened. They did experiments on her? But what type of experiments? And what did they have in mind?

"What do you know of the experiments done on me? What did they do? Do you know?" She sputtered out, wanting to know, and she almost looked pleadingly at the boy.

"I'm sure he will, once you find your way there... I don't know if I feel like helping you... maybe I'll just watch and follow." He said, a evilish but almost playful smile went across his face. He turned to look at Nitar when she spoke.

"I know more then I want to know... but I am not one to tell you." He said calmly, then hung hiss head for a moment, as if he were guilty about something, then he looked up again. "Only Eldon may tell you what you wish to know... but I know he will not tell anyone willingly."
