Even luckier, it seemed no one had been inclined to take some random bag of clothes. Who would have thunk it.

"Is that it?' She asked, spotting the bag. "That doesn't look like a lot. Am I going to need to buy posters and paint to liven up your dorm?"

"This is it." He says strapping the bag on. "Well, I don't really have much to my name honestly. Besides I'm sure I'll have roommates, they'll probably have decorations. Plus I can always go to the city and buy some."

Maddie jumped when she thought she heard a door opening, trying to use Malvoes as a shield in case a faculty member was around the corner.

She laughed nervously.

He'd pat her head, turning up the brightness of his light orbs, extending their range around them. He could see the highschool dorm coming up so she should be able to make it without too much trouble. "Thank you, by the way."

"For what?" Maddie asked, distracted. She was still looking around to make sure she wouldn't be caught.

It made her feel guilty. She couldn't recall a time she had broken the rules before, but in defense to her, she hadn't known it had gotten so late. It's not like she was breaking the rules on purpose.
