"I'm not sure if I should say." The young boy had said to Shinji after he finished what he had to say. Shinji continued to look at him steadily without falter and stayed silent for a moment. Shinji was torn at the moment. he was finding slight amusement in what the kid had to say but he also didn't really want to do this right now since he was waiting for someone to come. But he was always told to focus on the situation at hand and not dwindle in the past or push too far into the future he continued on with his conversation with the boy.

Walking around the boy and putting his left arm behind his back and his right hand in the air, index finger extended upward, Shinji had began to speak. Not with a intimidating tone, not with a tone that was depressing, but with one that was relaxed and showed that he wasn't worried in the least bit about the situation at hand that concerned the boy and his own rude remarks. "You don't have to, really." Shinji began as he continued to walk around the roof. "It was a simple question that isn't mandatory to be put out there if not needed to. But I would like you to know one thing." Shinji paused in both his walking and his speech. He walked closer to the boy, but not nearly as close as before, and continued making extreme eye contact. "I am not one to pick a fight but I don't care who you are or who you were, but I consider everyone as equals no matter how strong you are and no matter who you are. What i am trying to say, I don't know what dream land you are from, my friend, but in this world you are above no one but your own subconscious."

Shinji moved back a little and put both arms behind his back, crossing them so that they would be towards the middle of his back. The air was still for a majority of the time until another breeze came between the two students. It wasn't strong but at the same time, it wasn't small either. Enough to make Shinji's hair move to the left of him. Luckily it wasn't in his face.

Ashiel could irritation prickling him at the forefront of his mind. This was becoming even more frustrating than it should be. He came to the roof to relax and to survey the lands and imagine a future where he will be able to conquer it. This wasn't what he wanted in the morning. Especially when the other almost seemed like he was condescending him. Turning around as his eyes followed the older boy, he showed his displeasure by placing his hands on his hips, but continued listening to the others response.

He wondered if the other boy was able to read minds. It was as if he was answering the doubts in Ashiel's head about being able to trust him. If he was going to stay neutral and find everyone on equal grounds, he wouldn't be a problem in an invasion would he? He could still turn against him though. His thoughts flew out the window however when he heard the other say, Dreamland.

Memories of his parents disappointment and anger at his insistence of the life he had flashed through his mind. They had never been verbal about their displeasure at hearing the truths he had to say, calling him childish and that he had to grow up from whatever fantasy he was living in. Their obvious disbelief had silenced him and Ashiel refused to talk about it to them any longer. Because even though he wasn't the Ashton they thought he was, they had raised him and he was grateful for all that they had done for him. And though it hurt him they didn't believe him, he chose to not disappoint them.

Triggered, he scowled and grabbed his cape and wrapped it around himself as some sort of shield. "For your information," he hissed, "I am the most favored general in the 188th Great Demon King's Army! I am above everyone here!"

A silence followed him, as he breathed through his mouth, trying to quell the anger that was simmering below. Before long, a flush crept up his features again when he realized he had snapped. "I'm sorry." he said eventually, "I didn't really mean it. For snapping, I mean."

Hal walked up the stairs in silence, holding his cheek. It was already fifteen minutes past ten and he was barely up the stairs to the roof; he was sure to hear from Shinji after their 'don't be late' exchange from the day before. His head was cooled off about his little issues from his rendezvous to the lake the previous night but that really didn't get him out of the possibility of getting into a fight with the other students afterwards.

He could have arrived on time, but his little brawl got him badly bruised that he ended up in the infirmary again. He had bandages on his arms and legs from getting thrown into a rose bush, some burns here and there, and his cheek was badly bruised that it needed to be wrapped with a gauze. He had also hit his forehead but the bleeding stopped already. Although, Hal wasn't going to let these get in the way of his training. Hal had looked forward to training with Shinji when he woke up, but something got in his way which led him to this bruised mess.

He also had to drag himself back to his dorm to change because his clothes were ruined too. Hal shook his head at the thought of the time he had wasted. And all because he didn't want to waste anymore time, he went with the first thing he had grabbed from out of his closet — which just happened to be one of his fairly new but almost never worn button up shirt.

When Hal finally reached the top landing of the stairs, he heard voices. Only one was familiar to him, he was sure it was Shinji's, but the other was someone unknown. He wondered if Shinji invited someone to train with them or if it was just a random student who ended up here at the roof without knowing anything.

Shrugging the thoughts away, he pushed open the door that lead to the roof and found Shinji with another guy in a cape. Hal guesses it was another student but somehow, the cape put him off. He stared at both for a second before finally speaking, "Am I interrupting something...?" he asked with a blank expression. He vaguely heard something about demon kings and generals but Hal decided he was hearing things.

Upon finishing his own little speech or what not, Shinji had to listen to the kid's point of view. It was easy to see now that he was beginning to bottle up with anger but maybe he had what it take to keep such anger within himself without exerting it all out at once. Shinji watched as the boy, who's hands were now on his hips, blurt out his opinion. "I am the most favored general in the 188th Great Demon King's Army! I am above everyone here!" He said with much fury and irritation in his voice. Shinji's expression further detailed how he felt as his face dropped into a frown. Shinji was ready to retaliate with more than just words this time. He wanted to know just how far above everyone he really was but before Shinji could even say anything, the boy apologized.

"I'm sorry." he said, but he wasn't sorry for what he said but he was apologizing for his out burst. This did lighten Shinji's feelings of the young student but because he was so arrogant as to think that he is above everyone, Shinji was still willing to teach him a small lesson of modesty. Before anything serious could brew, though, Hal had appeared from the staircase. Shinji looked back to him as he said, "Am I interrupting something...?"

Shinji kept his position while raising an eyebrow. "Well not really but there are more important matters. What happened to you?" Shinji asked as he began to walk towards Hal to get a closer look at his wounds and bandages. Shinji basically began to ignore the younger student now that Hal had seemed to have been beaten senseless. He could only wonder what could have possibly happened that got him hurt like this, especially since he knew that he would be doing training today.

Ashiel froze at the sound of someone else coming through the door. The boy he had been conversing with had immediately turned to the newcomer, a question on his lips as he brushed off their conversation. His temper began rising once more, being brushed off so easily like that and he turned around to give them a piece of his mind.

Catching sight of the new boy, he stopped himself. The brunette by the door was covered in bandages from head to toe. Ashiel's first instinct was to ask if he was okay, but the older boy was already on it. Add the fact that he didn't know him at all; it might just make Ashiel look like the fool.

Turning his nose up, he walked off and headed for the opposite end of the roof. He would have preferred to just leave, but since they were crowding the door, Ashiel didn't really have that many choices for retreat. He'll just stay put and wait for the other two to leave. Right now, he can use this time to compose himself and relax before he busts a nerve.

"Bad company." Hal replied nonchalantly, keeping his ground where he stood. He glanced at the caped student on the other side of the roof for a moment just enough to see him turn away from both him and Shinji. Hal could just see that arrogant air around that stranger by the way he turned his back on them.

Turning to Shinji, Hal pushed up his glasses (which were surprisingly unharmed) and continued, "I sort of bumped into a new student and... things spiralled down to pointless bickering and then into fireball throwing." he said, casually tucking his hands into his pockets. He didnt know the student, and he'd rather not run into them any sooner.

Hal stepped past Shinji and crossed his arms behind his head while saying, "I'm mosly okay though. Just flesh wounds and all that. Nothing serious." He stopped at the middle of the roof, facing the caped one, and after a pause, asked "Who's the guy in the cape though?"

"Bad Company" Hal replied as he went on to explain what he had gotten himself into. After hearing about Hal's experience with these fireballs and the student, It clicked to Shinji how Hal had fixed his glasses. "How did his glasses come out unscathed after that when the rest of his body, including his face, look like a truck hit him?" Shinji thought. It took him a few moments but he brushed it off and went on with the situation."Wow, this kid must have been a mean one." Shinji said aloud but under his breath. Nothing worse than a mean person with super powers.

Shinji turned as Hal moved past him with his arms behind his head expressing how alright he was. This was no problem but soon enough he asked who the caped guy was. Shinji scowled a little and looked to him, "Speaking of 'Bad Company'..." Shinji stated loud enough for the caped boy to here him as he looked over to the younger student near the edge of the roof. "He just happened to make his way up here while I was up here and though he has a lot o confidence in himself, it seems that he is extremely arrogant. Well, in my opinion at least." Shinji finished his own explanation while he looked at the young man. It was almost entertaining to aggravate him.

Ashiel's hackles rose. Today was just not a good day for him. He should've decided to survey the lands in the evenings. This was definitely not turning out well for him. Usually he would keep to himself and to avoid starting arguments for the sole sake of his future invasion, but this person here has been grating on him for the last hour.

"I'm bad company?" he exclaimed, stalking up to the pair who was staring at him, "Pardon me for being worried about your well-being! You were the one who didn't have any proper manners when talking to someone!"

He hadn't realized it but two swords materialized behind him, his ability getting out of his control because of his anger. He knew that he should be keeping calm, but he's had it being looked down upon and passed over. He had power, no matter how little it was right now, and he wasn't going to let some ass hat he's just met make it look as though he was the bad guy here.

"Mean? She's a literal demon. With a horrible temper to boot. I'd rather not run into that witch any sooner." Hal responded, his eyebrows raising as he recalled his encounter with the demon. Talk about horrible experiences. He was not looking forward to meeting her again, or having a near similar encounter that could leave him in a worse condition.

But Hal would have spoken too early.

Hal considered it was a mistake to ask Shinji about the boy in the cape instead of asking that student directly. He would agree that the caped one seemed pretty arrogant at first look but to have Shinji say that out loud, it ended up aggravating the caped student. Hal made a step back as the said student walked up to them, riled up by Shinji.

Well, Hal was aware Shinji was going to end up in this situation at one point in time, but why did it have to be a time where he was around and already half beaten up? As the swords materialized behind the stranger, Hal immediately stood on a defensive stance, ready to fight back. He was unarmed but he would rather be ready than not.

"Whoa, okay, I'm sure you guys want to settle your score or whatever but, hi there, I just got beaten up by a fire demon. Can we not do this on a scheduled training session?" Hal spoke, almost a bit sarcastically, but it was clear enough that, yes, he had just been in a fight and was probably on the losing end, given his injuries. It was not a lie and he was being honest that he would rather proceed with his training more than ending up mixed into a fight between two students.

In his mind, Shinji thought about the fact that there may be actual demons in the academy and on the island period. He didn't even know that they even existed period. But hey, on this island, anything is possible. Continuing his almost blank stare at the younger student near the edge of the roof, Shinji saw that what he had said earlier kind of spiked up the boy's anger towards a whole new level.

Shinji only watched as the boy yelled out his thoughts and his opinions with the argument altogether. Shinji didn't falter at first because the boy had only approached the two even though Hal had nothing to do with it. .Soon after though, The boy seemed to have summoned blades of his own in mid air. This was a little startling for him since he had no idea what the student's power was in the first place. Shinji did step back and get into a defensive position, ready to dodge or even attack if necessary.

Hal, who had only just gotten into this, had made a few comments himself. He had already been in an altercation with a demon and by the looks of his physical condition, it didn't go so well. He knew that there may be something to settle but because he had nothing to do with it, he would rather we do that on our own time instead of the time he had maybe been looking forward to for training. Sadly, after hearing this, Shinji began to get cocky himself and went towards the boy.

"If you don't mind, let's settle this later. My friend here has important and I mean important training to do and I'm sure you do too." Shinji said in such a nonchalant tone that it may have been taken like he was being arrogant himself. Beginning to talk again, he said, "I have to help him with this because that's what friends are for, right? But as for our unnecessary little disagreement, let's do this some other time." Upon finishing what he was saying, Shinji stepped back to where he was previously after the blades had first appeared but not in a defensive position anymore.
