Aedan Drago

Aedan wasn't sure why he was here, among the dancing and the loud music, the people dancing about. The large party was filled with teenagers sixteen and up, these were meant to be his peers, yet he felt a bit out of place. The breakup and general lack of connections had prompted him to try and get out more.

Drinks were passed about and covered a nearby table, he'd help himself to a beer as be made his way through the large room. His sense of taste was quite weak, so he'd gotten something strong, something that he could actually taste.

So here he was, a young man wandering about a large party, looking like he both belonged and yet somehow didn't. His glowing eyes showing in the dim lights, like signals meant to draw people in.

Of course there was a party and of course Raella had forced herself to go despite her hatred for crowded areas. After all, reputation was important and missing out on something as big as this could cost her. As she stepped outside the dorm, the blaring music and incessant noise could already be heard. With a reluctant sigh, she extended her wings and pushed herself off the ground, making her way to the venue.

And of course it just had to be everything she'd expected but worse. Bars she could handle. Heck, she could even endure the uproar of a strip club but this was a whole other predicament; students from all walks of life crammed together in an enclosed area, screaming and singing at the top of their lungs. Alas, there was no going back now. Trudging into the large room, her eyes scanned the vicinity, scouting for anyone she knew but to no avail. Instead, her gaze settled on a rather tall and well-built male. Black hair, blue eyes, pale complexion; rather unique if she does say so herself. However, looks alone wasn't what drew her attention; the male seemed slightly out of place, so imperceptible such that anyone focused on the party would fail to notice. Helping herself to a glass of champagne, she then cautiously made her way over and gently tapped the other on the shoulder. Her voice was smooth and tone slightly teasing, almost bordering on flirtatious. As she spoke, the edges of her lips tilted upwards into a smirk, subtly prompting a reaction out of the male.

"Not enjoying the party I see, would you rather be elsewhere?"

His nose would twitch as he turned, it was girl about his age, scent indicated she was demonic. "Oh I'm enjoying it well enough," he'd say, returning the borderline flirtatious smile with one of his own, "it just can get a little awkward when you don't have a partner."

The music continued to play and the people around them continued to move and dance. "Came out of curiosity, wanted to see who I'd meet," he'd chuckle, "as you can imagine this island never fails to present someone interesting," an attractive demon girl was certainly interesting.

"I'm Aedan Drago," he'd introduce himself with a small playful smile, he'd come alone but perhaps he'd now found a partner to spend the party with.

Raella was a little taken aback, an expression of surprise flashed across for a split second before returning to her usual composure. This was the first instance where someone would return her gestures though she was far from opposed, she couldn't help but be a little startled.

"it just can get a little awkward when you don't have a partner"

Dropping her voice to a slightly lower octave, Raella shifted closer to the male and purred "Perhaps I could help with that." Stepping back to take a seat next to him, she swiftly crossed one leg over the other, her tail swishing idly from left to right.

"this island never fails to present someone interesting."

"I could say the same here, you seem like a rather compelling individual." Placing her champagne glass on the table, she then locked her gaze on Adean once more. With an elbow on the table, she leaned in slightly, giving her wings a quick flap before folding them neatly behind her back.

"The name's Raella. As you can tell I'm a demon, what about yourself?"

He'd smile when she joined him, "company is always appreciated and yours seems especially good," she was an attractive girl, so her presence was very welcome indeed. "I hope I'll be as good company," he'd say playfully, with a small chuckle.

"Pleasure to meet you Raella," he'd say, noting the wings and tail, nice features. "Oh I'm human...or metahuman if you'd prefer," he'd tilt his head, "just a human with abilities, though metahuman has a nice ring to it."

The party continued around them, people dancing and drinking, some finding partners for themselves. "Tell me, what brings you here?" he'd ask curiously, "do you come to these often?"

"Pleasure's all mine, Aedan." she mused, her voice barely louder than a whisper as his name smoothly rolled off her tongue.

Tell me, what brings you here? do you come to these often?

Humming, she idly twirled a few strands of hair, tilting her head slightly to the side. "Well, I don't usually like crowded areas." Pausing, she took a moment to unfold her legs and extend her wings as she leaned forward. "But staying back at the dorms would be lonely, no?" Letting out a chuckle, she then continued "Besides, I far from regret coming here tonight. After all, I did find some worthwhile company."

Glancing around at the ongoing party, she then refocused her attention on Aedan. "What about yourself? You seem like the type of person who enjoys something more... private." As those words escaped her mouth, a voice at the back of her head screamed at her to stop. Was she playing the flirting game too far? Though the situation could potentially go down south, some casual conversation couldn't hurt.

"I know what you mean," he'd say with a nod, "I've been trying to get out of my apartment more often as of late, meet new people." Aedan would flash a smile, "and yes, seems we both found very pleasant company indeed," this was fun, flirting with an attractive girl.

Aedan would chuckle, "sometimes, leaving the party behind and having some private fun can be enjoyable." He wondered if she flirted often, it was hard to say, she did seem pretty decent st it. "Have to find a good partner for that," he'd say with a playful smile.

He'd briefly glance at the party, his eyes quickly returning to her. "Do you prefer more private encounters?" he was flirting with a demon, and was curious to see if she was as mischievous as she acted.

Doubt clouded her mind but she brushed it aside for the time being. Most times her attempts at flirting would have been blatantly rejected, however, this was a different case. It astounded her to no end that Aedan would reciprocate. Regardless, Raella perceived it as a good thing; being flirted with by a handsome man was no doubt a situation in which many girls would love to be placed in. A princely aura encapsulated the other, making him all the more endearing. Not wanting to seem like an awkward first timer, Raella continued to flash a playful smile of her own to match his advances as she listened.

"Do you prefer more private encounters?"

Despite knowing he had no ill intentions, she couldn't help but slightly fear what could possibly happen. I'm underage. Those words were simple to say yet they weighed heavy on her tongue. A year. No more, no less. That wouldn't seem too important, would it? Anyway, she was past the age of consent so she supposed it wouldn't matter. Although there was nothing in his speech which indicated he was referring to sex, she would be a fool to interpret otherwise. Besides, it was her fault for bringing it up in the first place.

"Do I? Well, perhaps you'd help me find out." Raella purred, her voice laced with ambiguity. She absolutely refused to halt her advances and like a poisonous addiction, she continued to dig her own grave.

"That does sound nice," his hand gently went to her chin, looking into her eyes, they were lovely, though looked less certain than her words. "You have beautiful eyes," he'd say with a smile, he was pretty good at reading people, looking past words to see more.

He'd lean in a bit as they continued to talk in a playful manner, "tell me Raella, what do you think of me? Of our conversation here?" She was attractive and playful, he was enjoying this, but he wouldn't take advantage of her.

"Have you ever done anything like this before?" he'd ask after letting her answer his previous questions and talk as she wished.

Raella smiled gently, welcoming the other's touch. "Well, I could say the same for you." While his hair was midnight blue, it couldn't compare to his intense, robust navy colored eyes. Humming slightly, she contemplated her next reply. She was, in fact, enjoying this conversation greatly. It was just a slight uncertainty and perhaps a little trepidation as for what's to come after. After all, everyone had a little fear of the unknown. In the end, his question was all it took to strengthen her resolve to proceed on.

"Of course, I enjoy this and though I've never done something like this before, I can tell you're an intriguing man. Bet you have hoards of women chasing after you.-"

Being rudely interrupted by a deafening beat drop from the background music, Raella let out a small sigh before leaning closer to Aedan such that their faces were a mere inch apart. "Music's quite loud. If you're up for it, why don't we go somewhere a bit quieter." she whispered, her voice dripping with desire.
