Srydon flew above the mountains looking for someone friendly to talk to. He didn't sense any minds nearby, but he was bored so he was looking for someone anyway. There must be someone here. He thought sadly. He turned in the air and went to the left. Maybe I'll try where the mountains are steeper. There might be other dragons over there. Maybe even a human.

Gerard laid outside in the grass. There wasn't that much sun so he could stare straight up in the sky without having to squint. It was about 60 dergrees out so it wasn't that cold. He pushed his hair out of his face and he grabbed a notebook out of his bag and started writing down lyrics to the next song his band would make. "I wish something rymed with orange" he said to himself. He stared up in the sky and saw a dragon. He surprisly wasn't afraid, in fact he started sketching a picture of it.

Leara leaned against a rock, her eyes closed. She hadn't gotten much sleep the night before, and she didn't feel like being at the academy today. And since the mountains were off limits, she figured it would be the best place to rest.

Just as she began to hum one of her favorite songs, she thought he had heard something, and opened one eye slowly. It sounded like something flying. As the sound grew louder, she opened both of her eyes and pulled the hood of her cloak off of her head. She climbed off the rock she was sitting on, and looked around.

Leara tilted her head for a moment when she saw a dragon flying overhead. She smiled. "Hey there!" she called up to it, knowing that was probably the most stupid thing she had ever done in her life. Her necklace began to glow, and she tapped it before either of her guardians could appear.

Srydon smiled as he saw wo students on the mountain peak below. He sensed that they could both be trusted, and swooped down. 'Hi there.' He said trying to make his voice light and friendly. Though admitatdly, it still rumbled as much as ever. 'How are you two doing on this fine day?'

'I'm Srydon.' He said hppily. Finally, a student that doesn't run away when I try to talk to them. 'And I'm doing good.'
Srydon looked at her, and tested her loyalties again. Hmm...I sense something bad in her past. But it seems to be gone now. He eyed her warily. Still, she doesn't have my full trust.

"That's good," Leara said with a smile. She looked at the other boy, who had yet to say anything. She stood up on her toes and leaned in close to Srydon's ear.

"He doesn't seem very talkative, does he?" She backed away and gave a slight nod.

Once again, her necklace began to glow. She scowled, and tapped it once, hoping that they would just leave her alone. I can take care of myself... she thought, looking back up at the dragon.

"Sorry about that."

Srydon blinked slitely confused. For a second he thought he had sensed two other minds. It must have been my imagination He thought to himself.
He looked over at the other boy. 'Hi. Nothing really. There's not much for a dragon to do around here.'

Gerard smiled. "I wish I was a dragon!" he said. His eyes turned purple which normally meant he was happy/excitied.
