"Well...why don't you want to go to classrooms? Do you not like it? Do you just hate learning? I am just doing this so that I can at least get a job somewhere when I am older." Of course he was older, but that was besides the point. Valen had no idea of her hearing abilities.

She sighed.... "Because of me being a vampire I hear beyond the norm... I can hear sometimes up to a mile away. The tiniest thing, it's extremely hard for me to concentrate in a school.... It's like putting me in a house of horrors. I hear way too much." She sighed... "I'm just glad for nice quiet places I highly doubt anyone would hire a vampire anyway, they fear we'll suck their blood I guess." She leaned against the tree...

"Hey, with all the horror movies out about vampires, I can't say our media really knows the great points of them. Then again, you might be one of a kind. Though what we all know is that they are all uuuugly." He smiled and backed off, thinking she was going to push him.

"Anyways, if I could help I would. I could...give you lessons from the classroom and have the headmistress fix my or your schedule so it matches each others. That way I can get you all your stuff. Say, what do you want to do in the future?"

"Hmm.... I think go far away, become a heroine have little girls want to be like me. Be able to make people happy, and if anyone ever kills me that it be for a good reason that I died." She looked at the sky... "I think that the best reason to live is to live for happiness. I haven't always lived up to my standard but I try." She sometimes felt lonely but felt no need for a relationship. Possibly a friendship but she didn't like the pain of a relationship. She liked to not feel attached, held back, torn apart. Though maybe a friend could fill a gap in her heart on the lonesome issue.

"Seems true enough." He said bluntly. "I guess we all have our own expectations for ourselves. I just hope I can live a good life, have a wife, two adopted children one of my own blood." He smiled and looked off to what he thought would be the future for him.

"Well...usually I shouldn't plan things like this out...gets ya dissapointed, ya know? Then again..."

She listened to him and a tiny pang hit her heart. She didn't say anything, this talk of families and happiness made her think of the unhappiness in her past. She never wanted a family because of her painful past. But for some reason her heart panged at his words. He seemed to have such happy goals, such a dream. She felt like crying, she closed her eyes feeling the breeze on the cold day play thru her hair. She didn't want to go soft, she forced herself into her strong mode spiritually and slowly opened her eyes.

He started to walk towards where the sun began to set over the forest. "Funny...how the two of us met." Valentine peered to his right, seeing Amelia close her eyes. "I also wonder...if this is the feeling when two friends meet...a feeling of trust. Usually it would take a torture device to get this stuff out of me, but it is odd...with friends, I guess I can talk about it."

The old teenager shrugged and quickly smiled. "Then again, the reason why I don't have any friends, save yourself, is because of some of the fits I throw. When my emotions go out of wack, so does my power, either they fade...or they go berserk."

She couldn't take it he kept talking on things that made her get emotional. She looked up tears in her eyes. "DON'T YOU KNOW WHEN TO STOP?!!" She looked away trying not to cry one tear escaped her wrath. She leaned her head against the tree with her arms blocking out the world around her. She never let anyone see her cry. She felt more tears come she lowered her head. "I'm sorry...." She said lowly trying not to utter a crying sound.

She hated herself she had but known the boy for a four or more hours and now here she was crying in front of him. Her tuff shell cracked she tried to hide the crack using the tree to hide her tears. She didn't want pity, she wanted love, happiness, the things he talked about. She knew she could never have it since she didn't know what it was like. She could only imagine it.

He saw her body breath in a studder like rhythm, he could only guess that she was crying from the tone of her voice.

Drawing close to her, Valentine's arms wrapped around her like a straight jacket, not in strength but in terms of a closeness. "It is alright. I'lll stop". His brown eyes looked at hers as he hugged her.Valentine's arms let go of her as he started to walk away. "Umm...I have something to give you if you want to help Sonlath? If you don't want to, I think I will leave you alone. It's what I would want at the moment."

She felt him hug her, he knew... He knew she was crying, she felt his arms draw her close it seemed to tame her crying somewhat. She felt him let go and start to walk away. She didn't want him to go, but part of her wanted him to go so she wouldn't grow attached to him. She wiped away her tears hearing his words. She closed her eyes then opened them forcing a somewhat happy looking face. "I'm not giving up on Sonlath. So I want to help him." She said a few tears still dripping down but she didn't look hysterical.
