Snow... grrrr....

Aseri walked the forest trail, actually wearing shoes for once. She hated snow... for one thing, she had to wear warmer, thicker clothing, which she absolutely hated. Plus, her butterflies couldn't come out with her... it was too cold outside, and she didn't want to get them sick or something. She wouldn't even be out here if it weren't for the fact that she hated school more than anything, and didn't feel like going to classes that day... or any other day, for that matter.

She sighed, and picked up some snow. She formed it into a ball, and threw it at a tree. She missed, which only added to her current anger. She flapped her wings, and continued walking on, hoping to get as far away from the school as possible.

Aseri turned her head slightly to look at the girl. She turned her head the other way and rolled her eyes. She had wanted to be left alone... but now she had to talk to this girl...

"Hello, Amy..." she said, her voice as cold as the snow they were walking on. "I'm Aseri... and it's.... a pleasure to meet you..."

"Trying to get away from the school and skip class... but I hate snow too... so I guess there's no way to win..." Aseri kicked some of the snow, and glared at it when it landed. "What about you? What are you doing out here?"

"Hm... well... I suppose you're entitled to your own opinion..." Aseri said quietly. "So, what are your powers? I can fly..." she paused, and flapped her wings, "and I can transform into a bird... a crow, to be exact."

"My powers aren't that exciting either," Aseri said with a sigh. "How long have you been coming here? I just arrived yesterday."
