He was not happy at all. Yeah, it hurt that Malek didn't seem to agree with him, but it was something completely different when his own boyfriend didn't. "Oh." He pulled his knees up to his face, glaring at them both, before he said another word. "Well I'm sorry that my knowledge was not good enough for either of you." Yes, the tiger was being dramatic; but he had ever right to be. "Oh, go on then, yes, just have your little bromance while you talk about someone else that I obviously don't know."

"Oh, c'mon, Jeje, don't be like that." Jett moved over to his boyfriend and wrapped an arm around the other man, pulling him into a half hug. "Here, I'll give you the rundown. So Malek likes this other Dragon girl, who was raised as a deity of love and marriage. She said they couldn't be together because her father and boss said so, then she almost kissed him. When he flirted with her, she ran off crying."
Jett was honestly far more interested in keeping Jeje in the loop than he was amusing himself with this problem. He smiled reassuringly at his boyfriend. "Personally, I'm just thinking she doesn't know what she wants, so how could she even begin to explain it to him."
Malek sighed. "She knows WHAT she wants. But she doesn't know WHO to listen too. Her heart or her father. She likely has never even thought about disobeying her father before. If I was her I would be in the same position. She is extremely conflicted." That's the only conclusion Malek could come to. Lae definetly looked like someone who would listen to every single rule they were given to without questioning it at all.
Jeong wanted to be defensive; he wanted to push away from his loving boyfriend just for a chance to show that he didn't need his love. That was a lie though, and it was a lie that they both knew. The man nuzzled into his older counterpart and listened to the run down of their situation. "Sounds like a mess." He stayed quiet though, as he didn't want to project his opinion too much. They were better, no, Jett was better at relationship stuff. "It's hard to disobey a person you've listened to your entire life. There needs to be a push."
"Obviously not," Jett responded to Malek. "If she knew she wouldn't be conflicted. It's not just about who she wants. Her battle is between wanting to be obedient and wanting to be free. That's a teenage problem."
He paused to let Jeong put his input in and reached out to gently rub the boy's back with another reassuring smile. "I'll be honest with you Dragon boy. Your girl doesn't seem all that mature, which is a real fuckin' problem when you want to get all serious. I suggest trying a more romantic, idealistic Notebook-esque style approach. She seems like she'd be into that. I assume she's going to be wary of you now that she knows you like her, though.
"I'd suggest just waiting all this shit out, but teenagers don't much like that answer sooooo..."
"I understand completely." Malek wanted to be to the point right now. No nonsense. "I'm 1400 years old and that is considered young for my people. I can wait. Mal knows I have for hundreds of years now." Malek muttered that last part. It wasn't like they needed to know that. "Now you said a notebook-esque approach.....could you show me what that is like? Obviously the techniques to showing one's affection have changed in a thousand years from marriages just being assigned with out the bride and groom even dating or perhaps knowing a thing about each other."
Jeong was happy that this time, his opinion wasn't getting pushed to the side. He really hated it when his views were pushed to the side. Jeje curled up to Jett, blushing even though he remembered the situation he was in; third wheeling at a love intervention. When he heard Malek finish, the tiger looked up to Jett, wondering if he wanted to show examples. "Well.... I think we could do notebookesque.... Yeah?" With excitement in his voice, the boy stood, making sure the blanket around him was still fastened.
"You never watched the Notebook, kid? Oh, Christ. I hate it, but... most men do." Jett looked to Jeong as he stood, all too excited to do something gooey and romantic. Ek. Fine. It was for science or some shit.
Jett wasn't as good when it came to mimicking the damn Notebook. He didn't watch it nearly as much as Jeje did, so he looked to his boyfriend for a little help.
"The major thing is you have to be all dedicated and never about other women. Make her feel special and always be there for her, even when she's being insane -- which she will be."

"Well that's just a given right?" Malek cracked open his journal and watched Jett and JeJe. As much as he hated to admit it he might actually need to write this kind of stuff down. Things were different here and he couldn't miss out on anything that could be important. He put on his best smile and nodded. "I'm ready when you guys are!"
"I mean unless you're poly." It felt important to note that, so he did with a booming voice. After that though, it was time to create some magic. Jeong was usually the one to show off his public affection to Jett, so this was really nothing new to him. "If you care about her, then make sure that you make it known." With that, he leaned up and gave Jett's nose a small kiss. "You're adorable hun." His ail wagged even though it wasn't visible. Jeje turned his head back to Malek. "But don't go overboard, you can take it slow. Ease her into the love that you have." He put his hand under the necklace that Jett had given him. "Give her gifts that would mean something to her, not just stupid wastes of money. Like this necklace, you see? I cherish it everyday and only take it off when I have to."
"Holding hands works too, but maybe make it less obvious of your intents. Like..." He looked upwards at Jett, with his ears twitching ever so slightly. He took both of the man's hands, but kept their bodies apart enough for him to swing their hands from side to side. "You're young kinda, so make it cute and innocent while you still can." With a breath, he came to his closing remark. "Then, make sure that when you do confess your undying love for her, you make it romantic. You know, take her out and get her a fancy meal and drink. Make her feel pampered with romantic music and the smell of flowers and passion in the air." Jeong was getting all blushy just thinking about it. He wasn't even looking at Malek, but rather Jett. "Tell them that they are all that matter to you, that you don't care if anyone says no. Make it known that you will protect her and always be there for her. Then, after all that, take her hands and look into her eyes and say... I love you." There was a lovely smile on his lips as he kept ahold of Jett's soft hands.
