Dani and Andrew glanced at each other. "Like...your parents are dead." Dani said.
Andrew gave Dani a look that said 'Subtle, for Pete's sake!'. "And that you're at a school for kids with super powers. Andrew added, hoping that Addie would pay more attention to what he said then what Dani said.

The young woman's eyes widened. "What? My parents died?! HOW?! WHEN?!" she asked, her eyes immediately filling with tears. She didn't even remember this... oh, no, she had forgotten everything about her life. She would have cried, but something inside of her didn't allow it. Well, at least some things didn't change.

"And what do you mean by powers? What the heck?!" she asked, not understanding any of this at all.

"Um...in a car wreck. It was a while ago. Do you remember them?" Andrew asked gently.

"And what do you mean by powers? What the heck?!"

"Yeah, like, you're an ice elementists, but I'm not exactly sure what that means, cause I don't think you ever told me, but you can punch really hard...like that one time when we got into a cat fight over Andrew, like not that long after y'all sang at the karoake thing at the fall ball. And then you and Andrew..." Dani trailed off when Andrew glared at her. Okay, so telling her that she was married right away probably wasn't a good idea.

"... Do you remember them?"

Adelina thought for a while, searching that black, empty space that were her memories. She slowly shook her head. "No..." she said. Although, it wasn't entirely a 'no'... it was slightly foggy, almost like the memories were there, but she just couldn't get to them.

She then looked at Dani, blinking at pretty much everything she said. She thought the ice elementalist part sounded familiar, but she didn't remember getting into a fight or a fall ball. "So, I can, like... produce ice?" she asked, confused.

"Yeah, pretty much..." October answered. She decided that it wouldn't be good to get into more detail, so she just left it at that.

Adelina nodded. "Alright... and... um... why did we get into a cat fight over Andrew?" she asked.

Note to self: Don't ramble EVER AGAIN! Dani thought. What was she going to say? 'Um...because you had like a huge crush on him but you wouldn't admit so I got mad at you and you got mad at me because I wouldn't leave you alone?' Obviously Addie didn't remember being in love with Andrew, she couldn't even remember him, so that probably wouldn't work.

She almost sighed, but she didn't. "You know, I really don't remember." She lied. "But yeah, you used to like, hate him, so yeah...I'm just gonna like, stop talking now." And she did. She pursed her lips.

Dani snorted. "Yeah, I mean, I'd think so." She said.

"So, uh, there's a Valentine's Day hoedown, and uh, do you wanna go? It might make you feel better." Andrew said, sort of changing the topic.

Andrew stared at Addie. That was totally and completely, excruciatingly, incomprehensibly, utterly, grossly, hugely, unexplicably unexpected. He had been expecting her to argue...or question, at least. "Um...Later..." He said.

[lol I don't know when it is for golly gophers sake!]
