Andrew simply nodded.
"Yeah, like, I'm gonna go get a nurse." Dani said. She stood up and walked over to where a nurse was standing.
"So, Addie, what all do you remember?" Andrew asked.

"Yeah...the girl that just gave birth and everything, I'm thinking she has amnesia, because she doesn't remember who any of us are..." She explained.

Yeah. Andrew wanted to say, but he didn't. "Nah. I suppose not."

The nurse nodded. "She probably does," she answered. "But it won't be permanent. It should only last a few days at minimum, a few weeks at the maximum. She'll regain her memories eventually," she said, making sure to speak quietly so that only Dani could hear her.

"Alright," Adelina said. "But, I must ask... why did you call me hon before?"

Dani stared. "THAT LONG!? She didn't mean to raise her voice so much. She cleared her throat. "Are you serious?" this time she whispered.

Andrew shrugged. He had no idea what to say. At all. He shifted uncomfortably. "Um...just habit, I suppose." He said finally.

The nurse blinked when Dani raised her voice that much. "Yes, I'm serious. I'm sorry. But if you guys try and help her regain her memories, they may come back sooner. Just don't over help her, ya know?"

Adelina nodded. That made sense. She closed her eyes, just to rest, since she didn't know what else to say.

Dani glared. "Like WHAT? I can't just walk over and say, 'Oh yeah, by the way, I'm your sister in law and these are your kids!' How do we not OVER help her?" Okay, so she sounded a little rude, but she was frustrated for her brother's sake.

Andrew stood up, and rocked Aly to sleep.

The nurse sighed inwardly at how frustrated Dani was. She did have a right to be upset, but she didn't have to get that annoyed. "I meant that you shouldn't tell her every last thing about her life at once," she said, hoping this answer was more clear than her last one.

Dani sighed. "Yeah, like we would." Without waiting for reply, she turned and walked back. "Yeah, so like, you have amnesia." She told Addie.
