Aly was obviously already the calmer one. Her eyes focused on her mother. Dani copied October, kneeling down next to Andrew. She could see he was still crying, and she put a hand on his shoulder.
October had noticed that Aly was already calmer, though hadn't taken time to say something. Alex squeezed his mother finger, and, amazingly, this got a reaction from her. Adelina squinted slightly, then opened her eyes slightly. She looked at all of them, a confused look on her face.
What is all this... who are these people.... she wondered.
Her eyes widened in fear when Andrew touched her cheek. Who was he? Why was he touching her? Why had she scared them? She didn't know them. Why did they care about someone that they didn't know? She swallowed, and tried to use her voice. "Who are you people..." she asked.
The young woman blinked. Hon? What was he talking about? She at least remembered her first name and age, but everything else was gone. "What? 'Hon'? I don't even know you... why are you calling me this?"
October started crying again, as did Alex. The baby let go of her finger and clung to his youngest aunt, really only crying because Aly was doing so.
Adelina blinked. "I don't know anyone named Andrew," she told him, raising an eyebrow slightly. October almost cried harder, but didn't do so, for Alexander's sake. The young female rocked her nephew back and forth and kissed his forehead, trying to calm him down.
Andrew decided it would be best not to try to get her to remember. "Well, now you know me." He replied quietly. Dani could tell how hard this was for him, and decided now would be a good time to speak. "And I'm Dani. I'm his twin sister. Oh, and since the kids obviously can't introduce themselves, That's Aly and that's Alex. So do you like, know why you're here?" She would have rambled longer, but she didn't know what else to say.
The young woman managed to smile slightly as they introduced themselves. "I'm October..." the thirteen-year-old said quietly, deciding not to tell Adelina that they were sisters. That might just freak her out, and she didn't think that it would be good to freak her out.
"It's nice to meet you all," Adelina said. "And no... I don't know why I'm here... though I imagine I must have hurt myself pretty badly..."
