Private Finished Sink or Swim

"Well you can." James said, He might not have actually seen what happened, but it was easy enough to put two and two together. Shivering again, he decided to boost his own body temperature, if nothing else, it would at least help warm him back up.

"So, is that like, a thing you can do now or?" He asked, Jae seemed just as uncertain as he did when it came to what exactly had just happened. He wondered if the fire had anything to do with it, maybe it was like a survival instinct or something.

James

"That probably had something to do with it." James said, as Jae seemed to confirm his theory that it was a survival thing.

James raised an eyebrow as Jae popped the idea of going inside, he didn't know what "shi-bal" meant, but he guessed it was a way of saying "shit" or something. Either way, he wasn't in a position to say no, as his powers could only do so much. "Yeah, let's go." he said, before setting off in the direction of lounge.

The moment we walked into the lounge, he was hit with a wave of hot air. After stopping in the doorway, and allowing the warm air to wash over him for a moment, he went over to one of the nearby vending machines, and grabbed two bottles of water, tossing one at Jae as he took one of the open seats in the lounge. "Well, I guess today wasn't a total bust." he said as he began to warm up.

"Hey, I helped!" James said in mock anger, before grinning at Jae. He was completely ignoring the fact that this whole mess was his fault to begin with. "And you learned that whole water thing. At least learned you could do it." He said, taking a quick drink of water.

The lounge felt warmer than normal, though he guessed that probably had to do with the fact that he was still keeping his temperature fairly high. After a few moments he started to cool down, before giving am involuntary shiver. "Yeah, I'm feeling better. You?"

James grinned at Jae. "Yeah, and I know starting without you is a really, really bad idea." he said, before yawning. This whole mess had taken a lot of out him, and while he was warming up, he really wanted to go back to the dorms, take a warm shower and crawl into bed

Taking another drink from the water bottle, he stood up. "Man, I dunno about you, but I think I'm gonna call it a day. We've got to do this again though. Just, without the whole forest fire thing."
