Silence...

The male entered the room, a relieved look upon his face. However, since darkbrown hair was covering his face, it could really be seen. A small smile made an appearance, his eyes glittering with just a bit of hope. "Le silence... remercie Dieu..." he whispered to himself, quickly closing the door behind him. Even if this place was filled with dust, was not in any way clean, and smelled old, it was away from other people. It was empty; there was no one else here. No one but himself and his mind.

So desperate for peace, I see.... a voice said in his head.

"Soyez silencieux!!" Damien whispered harshly. He swallowed, knowing he should really be speaking English to improve it. "J... Just for a while... be silent..." His accent was thick, and his voice shook as he spoke.

He moved across the room and sat on the floor against the wall that was near the window. To be honest, Damien didn't really care if he was getting his black clothes dirty... he just needed to be alone. Unfortunately, though, he never would be. Some things just aren't possible when there's someone living inside of you.

Dani opened the door quietly. There were too many people in the lounge, it was too cold to go outside, and the library was too big for her to concentrate if she went in there. She had a journal and pen in one hand, and Inkspell in the other.
She didn't notice the boy sitting in the corner, so she sat down and opened her journal, writing the date in the upper left hand corner.

Looks like we aren't alone... now try not to be nervous, 'k? Tristan said when the door was opened. Damien tried to ignore his comment and looked up, watching the female was she walked in. It looked like she planned on staying for a while... he wasn't sure if that was going to be a good thing or a bad thing. However, he was leaning toward bad.

It seemed that she hadn't noticed him. Good, he could just stay there. But it would be rude not to say anything at all... so, even though he didn't want to, he did. "Salut," he said, then shook his head. "I... I mean..." he paused. What was the English word for it? He panicked for a moment, then remembered. "Um... hi."

Dani jumped slightly, and her pen slipped across the page. Darn! She thought. She looked up. "Salut,"
"Wha-?" Then she realized that he was speaking another language.
"Hi." She replied quietly, not really wanting to talk in a normal voice, because it was so quiet.

Damien was silent for a while after she replied. He was searching his memory for the English words, but he couldn't seem to remember. He swallowed, knowing that the fact that English wasn't his first language wouldn't be good for meeting new people. Not like he wanted to be around a lot of people anyway.

"Um... for-forgive me... English... it isn't my first language..." he said, his accent showing whenever he started speaking. He was just going to have to do his best to talk, even if it wasn't his first language. "My... my name is Damien."

Aw, you're not going to mention me? I'm so very hurt...

"Soyez silencieux...." he whispered again to Tristan, but much quieter, not wanting Dani to here what he said. He was used to people thinking he was insane, but he was hoping not so many people here would.

Dani smiled. "Just don't ask me to speak French. I'll probably end up telling you that you stink, or something." She only knew a few words that she had learned when reading a book about Napolean.
"I'm Danica. Dani."
"Soyez silencieux...." She shrugged her shoulders, because he was speaking so softly that she barely heard that he had said anything, so she guessed he wasn't speaking to her.

The seventeen-year-old laughed softly. He hadn't expected her, or anyone else here, to know French. He nodded when she spoke her name. "It is.... nice to meet you, Danica," he said. He knew that she had given him a shorter name, most likely a nickname, but he preferred not to use nicknames until he knew someone better.

He had never been good at conversations. He was unsure of what to say, then remembered that everyone here had powers. It was probably something a lot of people asked, but he wanted to keep this conversation going. "Quels sont vos pouvoirs?" He realized he had gone into French again, and cursed himself. "I... I apologize, really I do. I meant... what are... what are your powers?"

Dani shook her head. "No, it's okay. French is one of my favorite languages to listen to."
what are your powers?"
"Fire." She didn't offer any further explanation. "And yours?"

The boys face brightened a bit when she said she liked listening to French. "R... Really?" he asked, wondering if she was just lying and being nice or not. It seemed to him that a lot of people lied, so he did wonder if she was being honest. He was surprised when she said her power, though. Fire? Like, fire fire? Damien blinked, but he did find it interesting. Every power would seem interesting to him, though, since he hadn't met anyone else that had powers before. "Me?" he was quiet, trying to think of what the words would be again. "Um... teleportation and invisibility," he said.

Still not mentioning me? I see how it is... Tristan laughed in the boys mind, causing Damien to look away from Danica for a few moments.

"Be... quiet..." he said. His voice was still quiet like last time, but a little bit louder. There was only one thing in this world that angered him, and that was Tristan; it was rare that anything else got him as annoyed as his other self did.

Dani smiled. "That's cool. So if you like, just dissapear or whatever, I won't be surprised." She said lightly.
"Be... quiet..."
"Excuse me?" She had thought that he had said "Be quiet," but she wasn't sure, and why would he say that to her anyway?
