Zora let out a laugh when it dawned on her what Levina had meant.

"I have to admit that have been luckier than most women in my position. My grandfather being who he is helped curb that a bit."

"I didn't get as many... "I can "help" you out if you help me first with an itch I have" type offers. And those that did try, well, let's just say the threat of frostbite is rather convincing if someone doesn't take no for answer," she said with a grin as she placed her hand over a glass of water which immediately iced over to demonstrated what she meant.

"Stefan? He is great," Zora agreed, smiling when her boyfriend was mentioned. "And very talented. He's got a great future in music."

Levina immediately thought of several responses that she wanted to say back to Zora, but held her tongue. Instead a laugh followed her statement on frostbite and watched the seemingly innocent demonstration.
"Well you are lucky you haven't had to deal with it much. I've had more than my share for the both of us. But as you said, when they don't take no for an answer, most are shocked by the results."
What she would give to fry the life out of the witch as a demonstration of her own power, but Mathos would never forgive her for doing so. So she merely raised a hand as if checking out her nails and let little bolts of electricity bounce between her fingers as her eyes glowed a bright blue.
"He seems really great. I've heard rumors of him and Wonderville. If you ever get tired of him, I might know someone who'd take him off your hands... How'd you manage to snag him anyways?"

Zora arched a delicate eyebrow, pleasantly surprised by Levina's subtle, yet effective demonstration of what she was capable of doing.

"Very nice," she smiled appreciatively, impressed by her display of power and sensing it was substantial. "Elemental witch?" she asked Levina curiously as she looked the younger woman over approvingly.

When Levina mentioned Stefan again, Zora just smiled.

"Oh, don't worry. I don't have plans to ever get tired of him. He's an amazing person," Zora informed her as she took a sip of her water.

"And we met through a chance encounter. I met him on a way to a meeting," she told Levina with a friendly smile, deciding at the same time, to keep the details to herself.

Zora had found that it was often the best thing to do with acquaintances. Being too candid or offering too many details could often lead to problems.

Levina smiled as she asked if she was a witch. Good. So she didn't know much about the personal assistant, taking careful note of the eyes that looked her over.

"Uh...no. I *acquired* my abilities."

She intentionally left out details. It was two fold, one because it wasn't an appropriate discussion for the circumstances and two it kept Zora from learning more about her.

As the water witch spoke of her boyfriend and their meeting, Levina made her facial emotions change into one of a teenage girl watching a romance movie as the main characters finally kiss.

"Oh my. How perfectly romantic. A chance meeting with a hunk like that? If only I could get so lucky."

Zoraida just nodded in understanding and decided not to pry any further when Levina remarked, her tone cheery but also seemingly guarded, that her powers had been acquired.

"Well, if there is anywhere where the ratio of hunks outweighs non-hunks, then you've come to the right place."

"Manta Carlos is a definite veritable source of good-looking people. You could easily toss a pebble in any direction and you will probably hit some gorgeous creature," she stated good-naturedly

Levina chuckled along with her statements attempting to lower her guard a bit. She still needed Zora comfortable, but it seemed it wasn't just the family name that got her in the position she was in.

"Oh hun, my standards are high. I've been here for 6 years and have been single the entire time for a reason."

Her voice seemed good natured as she spoke. An eyebrow raised as a playful expression came across her face.

"Seems you might be part of that reason, scooping up all the good ones."

Oh the sweet sweet irony.

Zora just smiled tightly at the "scooping up all the good ones" comment. Unfortunately, the comment had struck a nerve, but not, perhaps, in the way Levina had hoped it would. Instead, it had suddenly reminded Zora of Broen, her ex, and the very tragic ending to their relationship. His suicide, which she had witnessed, may have been more than a year ago now. But the wound had not quite fully healed.

"I can assure you that has not been the case," Zora said trying to keep her voice light. "My work does not allow for much socializing," she said as she stared at Levina, her face unreadable.

"I am sorry, Ms Cromwell," Zora said as she gathered her things. "I have an important meeting
with my son's homeroom teacher in about half an hour at the school," she explained as she hurried to leave, not wanting to be late.

"Well then fate is on your side sending you that blonde wonder."

Levina tagged onto the end of Zora's comment about being too busy with a playful smile to cap it off. She was doing her best to seem genuinely interested and friendly towards Zoraida.

Having solely her tablet, it took nothing for Levina to gather it up and stand when Zora mentioned having another meeting suddenly.

"Oh? Of course. Busy both at work and home. Admirable. I'll not keep you any longer. I will say it has been nice conversing with someone that understands the...problems...we face in our respective positions. I'd very much like to meet up again, if you can ever find the time."

The personal assistant's voice bounced between professional and friendly, giving off the impression of understanding the difference between business and personal relationships.
