Without saying anything or even looking over at Paul, Rae changed directions from going to the back of the serving line to a small open table. It was in the corner of the room, and the light that was above it was out, so the area was quite shaded. She sat down and stared slightlessly at the top of the table.

Due to Rae's Schizophrenia, the darkness would begin to have an even greater effect on her than most people. Some of the images she saw would occasionally come to life. One second she would see death and decay all around her, the next everything would be normal.

Paul recalled some of the things she seemed to like from previous lunches/dinners and included them in his choices for Rae's dinner. He paid for both of the lunches and sat down at the table across from her. His Peace Aura would calm her slightly but it was too weak to make too much of a difference. The biggest effect it had was that he would never appear to be an enemy or some dying person, even to her currently afflicted mind.

Rae stared at the plate of food in front of her. She became slightly more 'normal' as the Peace Aura surrounded her, but there really wasn't enough change in her that anyone would be able to see. She began to blink rapidly before her hands came up to rest on the tabletop. They were shaking like she had a bad case of arthritise.

"W-why'd that happen...Paul?" She asked very quietly, so quietly he would have to strain to hear her correctly.

Rae felt disappointment when he said he didn't know. She nodded slightly at his question. "I'm fine. Why do you ask?"

He ignored her response to his question. He knew it wasn't true, and he wasn't even sure why he bothered asking. Corona advised straying away from subject to try and keep her mind off of it. There wasn't much he could do or say to make her feel better after something like that. It didn't help that he was feeling similar depression. The only thing he could do is make sure she didn't do anything because of the depression until it wore off in a few days.

"You haven't touched your food yet. You should eat, it'll make you feel better."

Rae gazed at her food as if just now seeing it for the first time. "Oh. You got me food?" She grabbed a fork and slowly began eating.

Rae finished eating her food, not hardly tasting any of it. She sighed to herself and pushed the plate to the middle of the table. "What now?"
