Rae suddenly slammed into a wall and landed back on her back end. The wind got knocked out of her, and she gasped.

He was behind her when she slammed into the wall and she fell back onto him. This was unexpected due to the darkness and he tried to catch her but ending up falling back instead and breaking her fall.
Rae quickly got her breath and began giggling. She slowly moved off of him, still laughing. Sitting next to him, she said, "Thanks for breaking my fall."
"Oh... err... right... no problem.." He sat up, rubbing his head. Seemed like thats what he got for being selfish and not wanting to carry her if she fainted.
"Oh.. I'm fine." He looked at his hand and his eye twitched at the sight of a small amount of blood.
Rae also looked at his hand and then grabbed it when she saw the blood. She lifted her left hand so the light would shine on it before dropping it. She glared at Paul. "You lied. You're not fine, you're bleeding."
Raegot up on her knees so she would be at the same height as his head and took it in her hands gently. She moved it slightly this way and then that way, trying to find where the blood had come from.

"I told you, I'm fine." He swatted her hands away from his head. "It's just a small cut. My head landed on a sharp rock is all."
Rae folded her arms across her chest and sat back down. "Fine, be that way. If you die, it's not my fault." She paused. "Wait...I suppose it wold be, considering I was the one who bumped against you..."
"Dang right. I'll have Corona sue you." He smiled.
