Rae nodded against him. Her stomach rumbled, and though she felt like just ignoring it, she looked up at him. "Feel like getting some lunch?"

"Yeah...alright. I could go for some food." He stood slowly and stretched, then offered a hand to help her up.
A dark figure looked out from behind the tree at both of them. Paul spun around as he felt something amiss, but nothing was there. He shrugged it off and ran to catch up with Rae.
Rae entered the cafeteria. Suddenly she spun and looked at him. "You paid for my dinner yesterday, didn't you?" She had just realized this...
Her gaze narrowed. "Oh yes you do. I still have the exact amount of money after dinner as before. You better fess up, or else...." She threatened.
"Or else what? You're acting really strange... weirdo." He continued walking towards the cafeteria.
Rae knew he obviously wasn't going to say he had payed. Maybe I really did pay for my meal... She thought. She followed him. "Don't call me names."
"I'll call ya names if I want. You certainly aren't gonna stop me. Just remember, I have another soul in my body that doesn't know what its doing half the time. If you aren't careful, I might let him take control the next time you challenge me to some game. You might end up with another smack in the throat." He laughed.
