Rae stood and straightened her skirt and batted the grass off of her stockings. "I, uh, ran into a tree."

"You...ran into a tree? Like, accidentally, right?" He walked over to her. "Cause that can be very bad for you. Especially your brain." He pointed to his own head. "Are you alright?"
"No, not intentionally. I wasn't watching where I was going. Kind of like you yesterday." She smiled. "Yeah, I'm fine."
Rae nodded. "Some. I had to take some pills earlier to get rid of the pain, but it doesn't itch as badly as it did yesterday." She was sure that wasn't going to last long, though. "The bad thing is I can't hold my sword up in my left hand now."
"Hopefully it won't be too long before its fully recovered. Did the nurse tell you how long it could take?"
Rae shook her head and sat back down against the tree, crossing her ankles. "Nope. But I'd guess at least two weeks," she said, trying not to sound too sad.
"Corona says if you care for it the right way it could be as little as a week. But he says he doesn't know if the right plants needed for the medicine is found on this island or not. It shouldn't be too long, anyhow." He walked over and sat down next to her. "You got any plans for today?"
Rae shook her head. "Not anything definate. Why?" She tilted her head slightly to the side as she gazed at him.
"No reason. I was just curious." He yawned and stretched.
