"Pool it is, then." She stood and took out the triangle nd began moving the balls Solid, stripe, solid, ect. After that she removed the triangle and then grabbed a stick off a rack on the wall and chalked the tip.
He started twirling around his stick like a staff as if he was fighting with it. He seemed to be having a pretty good time until he saw that she noticed him doing it and he suddenly stopped. "Heh..." He chalked the tip and got ready.
Rae situated the cue ball before hitting it. One solid and one stripe went it. "I'm solid." She went again but the ball missed going in by less than an inch.
He took his turn but he failed pretty badly. The white ball just barely scratched a striped one, which didn't move at all, then fell in one of the holes.
"Um...oops."
"Um...oops."
Rae grinned and retreaved the ball before going again. She got one in, and the next time got two in at once. As she went again, she missed.
This time he was actually able to get a ball in, but he failed miserably once more on his second attempt. He was never the best at much of anything, but something got him thinking. Wasn't he supposed to take after Corona? He hadn't noticed much change in terms of games like these, whereas Corona was typically incredible at such activities.
