"Almost crazy, huh? What exactly do you mean?" She couldn't have been referring to his crazy random personality changes. Not that Paul actually realized he ever did stuff like that.
She shoved him. "I was joking." She suddenly tackled him and an arrow barely missed them as it whizzed by.
"Ow!" He didn't notice the arrow, but Corona sure did. He didn't say anything, but he became very alert with the new situation. "What was that for!?"
Another arrow whizzed by and Rae began creeping along the ground, trying to get to a tree for shelter. She ignored Paul.
"Why in the world are arrows being shot at us!?" He noticed Rae moving towards a tree and began to follow her.
Rae glared as she fell against the trunk of a tree. "How am I supposed to know?" She hissed as one struck the trunk above her head.
He moved towards Rae and propped himself up against the tree. "Well there has to be SOME reason. Arrows don't just appear out of nowhere and fly at people! Or at least... last I checked they didn't."
"But do you think they'll just stop chasing us? I doubt we were just attacked for fun." He followed her, but didn't stop looking back. "They'll probably hunt us down!"
