Rae laughed slightly as if it were a joke, but when she saw he was serious put her hand to his forehead. "No fever...." She frowned in confusion and unconsciously backed away from him. "What're you talking about?"
Unless you're going to transform here, which is impossible anyways, she's going to think I'm crazy. I know you're having fun but come on..I don't need people thinking I'm crazy.. Relax.
"Hmm.." He thought for a few seconds. "The other night in the mountains you saw a winged figure outside the cave, correct?"
What in the world are you talking about? When did she see a winged figure..?
Rae nodded hesitantly. "Yes. I couldn't see it very well though, even with my light I was using." She quirked an eyebrow. "What're you getting at?" Did Paul follow me out of the cage then after I fainted bring me back to the cave?
"I said who not what. Though.. you're right, it was indeed an angel. But that still doesn't answer my question."
Do you really think she's going to believe you're an angel? Why wouldn't she? ..I don't know how it was back in your "medieval times", but in this day and age, angels aren't exactly common here on earth. Oh..you're wrong. They're very common. You just never realize that they are there...
He blinked. "You still haven't answered me..." Something changed about her. What was it? He couldn't tell but knew for a fact that her personality just shifted somehow. He wondered if this had anything to do with that "Moe" person that she occasionally referred to.
"Indeed." Something about her had definitely changed. Corona wondered how often this actually happened. Perhaps these changes in personality fully explained why she attacked him when they first met. When Paul got to know her better, she didn't seem the type to randomly hurt someone.
