As they kept walking, Rae grew more and more hungry. She looked up to the sky and saw that by the position of the sun, it was about dinner time. Hesitantly she asked, "Think you could go kill a rabbit or something?"
He looked at her, slightly shocked about the question. "Kill a cute little innocent animal? I dunno...honestly I don't think I could bring myself to do it.. and I don't have any hunting skills. Also, my sword can't cut living flesh.."
Rae thought a moment. "Well..." She reached over and took her sword from him. She could hold it. "I'll go get us dinner...that is, if you don't mind. And you can start a fire..."
This boy just couldn't do anything, could he? Rae sighed. I guess I'll just have to wait to eat until we get backto SA. "Fine, I suppose we can just keep walking." She sheathed her sword into the sheath at his waist and started walking again.
He didn't respond to what she said. Instead, he slowly but surely inched his way from the tree that apparently had a bear behind it. Was Corona telling the truth or just messing with him? He didn't say anything since then...
