Shopping with 'Friend'?

When she spoke up about the color of the skirt Wei relaxed, did he think she was going to insult him or laugh at him? She blushed in shame, she hoped it wasn't that. Ai didn't think she was mean to people, or was she mean to them and just didn't know about it? Ai attempted to keep herself from showing these thoughts in her actions as she spoke up. "Yeah, I think a green will work. Maybe a darker green? I'm not sure, maybe we could ask the clerk what they think?"

When Wei came back out of dressing room wearing his previous skirt they moved over to the clerk at the desk asking for a different color for the dress. It was blue-green and Ai thought it might look better when shown against Wei's fur. "I think it will do better, go try it on real quick. Lets see if it will work better." Once he was going off to try on the dress she turned to the clerk.

"Do you happen to have fur brushes?" This was probably the bravest Ai could be right now and her voice was soft and barely heard. The clerk looked at her in surprise and nodding she brought out a small ornate brush. "here you go dear." Ai whispered a thank you in responce. Once she had it she paid for it and waited for her friend.

When her friend came out from the dressing rooms again he was wearing the new dress. The color matched much better. "Oh that's better, now come here. I'm going to brush your fur a bit, see if that makes it better." She motioned with the brush in her hand. "You do so much in the day I don't think just simply brushing your fur is going to help all that much but it's been sticking up this whole time and it was bugging me. My brother had the same problem, always covered in tree sap too."
