Delaney helplessly sagged her shoulders. Georgette was smart, but her training wasn't exactly, 'just follow that person!'. Delaney ruffled the poodle's hair, more to keep herself calm than anything else. "Well, just keep talking then I can follow your voice." Her frustration was only mild and short-lived.
"You mean donuts? Heck yeah, you deserve 'em for your good deeds." Her guardian angel wasn't so bad. "And thanks for taking pity on me, despite my sorry face." Delaney giggled. She wondered what her little angel looked like, then paused. Calling this person her guardian angel was her own little joke but, "Wait, are you a for real angel?" Like, Delaney knew there were angels around but she didn't often come across them!
"Holy-I mean, um. Gosh heck! I sure got lucky." Her own personal angel was helping her out!
