It was a long week after Ain had kissed Ria, and he found that he could no longer sit still in the forest for long. While he did he felt a bit embarrassed by the fact he only had one set of clothes to wear, and he knew that Ria would eventually notice this fact and he did not want her to think less of him. At first he thought to stay in hiding in case the police and other were looking for him, but instead was just sick of running and hiding in his cabin home. Leaving his weapons, cloak and helmet behind - he ventured into the city with only a few things on him like his bag of gold coins with his other supplies, and his basic black shirt and pants. The idea came to him that he could probably trade his coins in for money, and buy some new clothes and supplies.

Ain walked through the streets when a police officer started to approach him and he thought for sure that he would be arrested based on what Zoraida said to him, but the police officer paid him no mind and continued on his way without any regard for him at all. Was the police really after him, at this point he wasn't really sure, maybe they didn't know what he looked like or was it possible they didn't know anything about him. He continued on his way for a bit as he noticed a clock on a building, he didn't recognize the numbers but the clock hands pointed in a familiar way, it was 11AM.

Lucky for him that the clocks were pretty much the same in design and had the same amount of numbers.

He managed to find a pawn shop, and though it took him a little while to know how it worked before he walked in; it was remarkably similar to how the market worked in his world. It was difficult process without saying anything, and his fear aura was causing unnecessary tensions but seemingly due to the fear effect he may have actually got more then he should have as they were too scared to give him a bad deal. He just went along with it and received a good portion of US Dollars - though he had no idea what the United States even was or why Manta Carlos used that currency.

Exiting out into the streets he was holding a large bundle of bills in plain view of everyone passing him, not knowing that he was holding about Two Thousand Dollars($2000) in twenty one-hundred dollar bills. The value of the paper money really meant nothing to him, he was soo used to gold coins, but he supposed that he would get used to it in time.

After a while he checked the clock again, it was now 1PM, he had not eaten lunch yet but for now he just wanted to find a store that sold clothes. He approached a shopping plaza that appeared to have many different businesses and even some outside carts, one of the outside carts had some shirts and pants on display, he didn't realize it but all of them were of cheap make and looked terrible with no style at all.

Walking up to the cart, he didn't even remember that he still had the money in hand, the cart owner - a large red haired man quickly took notice of what he perceived as a easy mark. "Good day, my friend, are you interested in some of my clothing," the red haired man quickly took stock of the fact that Ain was not talking back and the confused look as he tried to read the prices. When Ain picked up one of the shirts the man piped in and attempted to trick Ain who was carrying money out in the open. "It seems that shirt would be about this much... Good thing it is on sale."

The red haired man gestured to the two thousand dollars in hand, Ain not knowing any better was still thrown a bit off by this. 'Does clothes really cost that much!?' he thought as he started to hand the money over to the red haired man and the man smiled as he was about to take it...

"Look at that! It's a sale! Let's go look, I want to see what they have!"
Joseph was running around like a little child around Ria and Lee, as they walked along the street. Lee and Ria sighed almost at the same time and Joseph came over and nudged Ria towards another store. But Ria stood her ground and looked at Joseph sternly.
"We are not here to shop, we came to acquire knowledge. And we already did that, this is merely the shortest path to the library."
Joseph pouted a bit and fell in step next to Ria so Lee was on her left side, wrapped in his security blanket and looking like the end of the world was near, and Joseph on her right, looking like sunshine itself.
"It's really cool you wanted to learn about sign language though. Why so suddenly?"
Joseph looked at Ria with his forever curious eyes and Ria had to fight back a blush when the person she had learned all those signs for came to her mind. It had been about a week since she had seen Ain last, and kissed him. It was about time Ria met him again, or else he'd think she wasn't going to come anymore.
"Sign language is a universal language and it's only corteous to know how to speak it."
Ria said with a slight cough and Joseph hummed with a slight smile. He probably wasn't buying it. But before he could bomb Ria with questions she stopped dead on her tracks and so did Lee and Joseph. Ria was frowning at a familiar looking figure some ways ahead, looking at a clothing stand. He had the same fluffy hair and pointy ears, and the clothes were the same too.
"Ain...?"
Ria mumbled to herself, confusing Lee and Joseph. But she did not explain and instead started approaching the supposed Ain. And as she got closer Ria's sharp ears heard and eyes caught, that he was about to get scammed. Ria frowned and jogged over. Just when the shop owner reached for the money Ria stepped next to Ain and pushed his hand with the money down, glaring at the shop owner. Joseph and Lee were observing the situation on the side, ready to jump in if necessary.
"Excuse me, but there is no way that these low quality clothes cost this much money. You should be ashamed of yourself, trying to swindle this amount of money from someone who clearly does not understand it's worth."
Ria's eyes were furious and controlled, and when she looked at the clothes it became slightly condescending.
"Although I suppose it would be your only source of income, as even I can see these clothes are hideous."
With those words Ria firmly took Ain's hand, the one with no money, and pulled him away from the shop. After they got far enough to not hear the owner's angry shouts Ria turned to face Ain, taking a short moment to take him in. She hadn't realized how much she had missed him.
"It's strange to see you outside the forbidden forest like this. I assume you're out garment shopping?"
Ria asked, and was able to take her eyes off Ain for long enough to see confused Lee and Joseph, and the latter looked like he was about to burst from curiosity. Ria sighed a bit and moved over to Lee and Joseph, gesturing to each as she introduced them.
"Joseph and Lee, this is Ain. And Ain, these are Joseph and Lee, my re-, partners in a certain tournament even I'm participating in."

The red haired man looked at Ria with a tinge of anger, mad that he missed his chance, but with the eyes of the other stalls on him he quickly packed up his stuff and left. The words, "Bitch..." could be heard under his breath as he left, only audible to Ria.

Ain was completely surprised to see Ria next to him, and didn't see her approach at all. When she pulled him, he allowed it in the moment too shocked to do anything until they stopped and he finally got the chance to look at her carefully. It seemed from her earlier words that he was almost scammed, and Ria had helped him again. He had missed her very much, and the smallest smile appeared on his face as she questioned what he was doing here, nodding yes to the garment shopping.

He then noticed that she was with two other people, from what she said they were her partners... in a tournament, 'A tournament, huh? If it is a fighting tounament, she has a good chance but why these people...' it may have been a misunderstanding, but he wondered why she didn't ask him to be her partner too... if it meant spending more time with her he would have agreed.

His violet eyes looked to them wondering if they would be fine with his fear aura, but at the same time he was a bit jealous that they got to be with Ria more than him. He gave them a light wave, unable to do much more...

The word "bitch" did indeed reach Ria's ears with ease, but she shrugged it off just as easily. Ria was used to being called with such names, and from a complete stranger it meant nothing. Especially from a man such as the red haired one just now. Anyone who tried to swindle that much money from an innocent passerby was much more of a bitch than Ria. Besides, Ain was her...friend. So there was no way she would've just stood by and watch him give away his money.

Ria forgot she was holding Ain's hand as she took him in, and as she introduced her regalia she let go with slight blush dyeing her ears pink. Lee just nodded a bit but Joseph smiled widely and stepped on over to Ain and shook his hand enthusiastically. The effect of the fear aura could only be seen from the slight flinch when Joseph grabbed Ain's hand.
"Nice to meet you Ain! Great to see that Ria has at least one friend, I was worried about her for a second."
Ria frowned a bit and crossed her arms, looking at Joseph sternly. The man laughed a bit and looked at Ria apologetically as he went back to stand by Lee. Ria just sighed and looked back at Ain.
"If you want I can help you look for clothes. Judging from that scene a moment ago you do not have much experience with money or buying goods, at least in this world."
Ria could feel Joseph sending meaningful looks towards the back of her head but she ignored him firmly.

Ain had not really noticed that she was still holding his hand, it maybe was that he was soo used to her presense that he didn't give it much mind, but when she released his hand he blushed ever soo slightly; more so from see her blush and becoming a tiny bit embarrassed.

Just as he was about to give his undivided attention back to Ria, the man named Joseph came and grabbed his hand and shook it, he instinctively wanted to pull away from him, but he gave him more of a look - he was a blond man like himself, looked more human, seemed energetic and didn't seem too affected by his fear aura. When Joseph mentioned Ria not having any friends, he quickly turned to Ria to catch her response as he pulled his hand away to his side.

The person named Lee was however still a mystery to him.

He nodded kindly to Lee then again to Joseph, not really sure what to make out of them, before hearing Ria mention helping him find some clothes — and of course help him not get scammed in the future. A smile broke onto his face, and he placed his right hand on Ria's left shoulder and nodded to her yes.

The idea of her picking clothes out for him was also a pleasant thought, and more than that he wanted to see other sides of Ria that he had not seen before. While he stood there his eyes looked down at her lips, momentarily thinking of their kiss one week earlier, the consideration to kiss her again but he looked to Lee and Joseph, not when there is an audience he figured.

'Later,' he thought as he gave Ria an look of expectation that quickly faded to a more normal serious stare.

He moved his hand off her shoulder, and wondered where Ria would take him to shop for clothes; he let her lead the way...

Ria hoped Joseph didn't make Ain too uncomfortable when she saw how Ain reacted to his handshake. Ria reminded herself to scold Joseph later, it wasn't polite to invade personal space like that. Lee was being Lee and sighed to himself, looking at anywhere else but other peoples' faces. Lee was so horribly shy and gloomy, standing next to the sunny Joseph he looked like he would fade away.

Ria answered Ain's smile with her own smaller one, and as the man set his hand on Ria's shoulder somehow she wanted to take his hand again. But she brushed the urge aside, Ria had much too large amount of shame to openly show affection like that in a public place. But just as she thought that Ria saw Ain look at her lips and her heart felt like it stopped for a beat. And after a glance at Joseph and Lee even Ria could see the expectation in Ain's eyes. Ain took his hand off her shoulder but Ria stepped forward slightly and took a hold of Ain's hand. Fuck shame.

Ria turned slightly towards Joseph and Lee.
"You two can go to the library ahead of me. I want to show Ain how to buy clothes without any additional distractions. And with that I mean you, Joseph."
Ria looked at the regalis meaningfully and Joseph burst out laughing. He grinned and wrapped an arm around Lee's shoulders. The gesture made Lee look very uncomfortable but happy at the same time.
"Looks like we're not needed here, buddy. Have fun at your date~"
Joseph wiggled his fingers towards Ria and Ain as he and Lee went on their way, towards the public library few blocks down. Ria was able to stop herself from blushing out of sheer willpower and sighed, still holding Ain's hand.
"He is going to be the death of me. I'm sorry about him, I do not know where he gets all his energy."
Ria said, turning to face Ain. Now that her regalia were gone the other people on the street faded away slightly, like it was just Ria and Ain in the world. But that was ridiculous. Ria cleared her throat a bit.
"Well then, shall we? I know a good store near here."
Ria tugged Ain by the hand to follow after her, and she headed down a side street towards the store she was talking about.

When Ria grabbed his hand again, Ain was surprised that she was soo willing to do such a thing in front of others, he had not expected it but he definitely wanted it. He tightened his grip on her hand, and allowed himself to be pulled by her. He was pretty glad that she wasn't ashamed of being soo close to him, even among her friends and wished it was he that decided to take her hand instead; though the fact that he liked strong-willed woman was ever on his mind.

For a moment he stuttered his step from the mention of being on a date with Ria, it was just shopping though, it wasn't like it was actually a date.... or was this how dates usually wet. It wasn't like he had ever been on a date with a girl before, what an embarrassing thought, but if his first date was with Ria he would not be apposed.

Ain was a bit happy that Lee and Joseph were willing to leave the two of them alone - a part him almost expected them to come along, and gave them an appreciative nod as Ria pulled him down a side street. It was an interesting place, clean and had several shops that he did not know were even there, it was like a secret place to shop that only the locals or people that discovered it really knew. There was only a few people down the street, but they were for the most part alone for the time.

He heard her words about finding a good store, and was sure they would arrive soon if they walked but for now he wanted to monopolize Ria. Stopping his step as soon as no one was watching, he pulled Ria to him and leaned in for a kiss while still holding her left hand tight with his right hand, and pulled his other arm around her to her lower back.

It was a bit of desire that had built up over the course of a week, thinking about the kiss, and wanting to kiss her more and more.

Ain's lips pressed into Ria's soft lips gently...

Ria didn't know what she would've done if Ain had pulled away from Ria once she took his hand. But she was relieved to find that he instead held Ria's hand tighter, and she answered that by in turn squeezing Ain's hand a bit tighter. And when Ain seemed to trip a bit when Joseph joked about a date Ria let out a small burst of laughter, but wiped her face back to serious soon after. Ria waved after Joseph and Lee a bit before she headed into a different direction with Ain. She felt a bit self-conscious about holding hands in public, but she enjoyed the physical contact, and warmth from Ain's hand. It made Ria really be aware that Ain was there with her, she didn't need to look to know he was there. Although she did look. Ria glanced at Ain every 30 seconds as she lead the two of them down the side street. The store Ria often went to had mostly sports or militaristic clothing, it was made to hold and endure and not break. Just like Ria. And all tye clothes were made from enchanted materials that shifted and changed size along with your body.

Ria was turning towards Ain to ask if he wanted to keep his money in Ria's bag for now when he stopped, and pulled her close. Ria knew what Ain intended to do even before he leaned down to kiss her, and after a quick glance around Ria met Ain halfway and kissed him. Ria's sighed a bit through her nose when their lips met, it was a sigh of delight and relief. Her heart was beating faster and Ria brought her hand on the arm Ain had slid to her lower back.
This kiss was different from their first one, this was less hot and hurrried, it was more warm, and it was gentle and lingered. Ria enjoyed it just as much, she had thought about kissing Ain during this week and wanted more. But the fact that this was a public place remained strong in Ria's mind and after a minute she pulled back a bit and looked up at Ain, talking in low and quiet voice.
"I would be lying if I said I didn't want to do this more. But I also want to help you buy clothes, and unfortunately we can only do one at a time. The shop is right over there."
Ria was able to point to the sign couple of buildings down without looking away from Ain. The sign was in clear colours of army green, white and black with some blue thrown in to act as an eye catcher. The name of the shop gave a cleat purpose of what their clothes were meant for, and the first time Ria had ehtered the shop she remembered appreciating the straightforwardness.

Ain had kissed her for a minute, but was also understanding of their surroundings and when she pulled back a bit he did the same. Quickly spinning around to just holding her hand again, he listened to her tell him that they can only do one thing at a time — shopping was the one thing for now though he was tempted to forget about the shopping and kiss her more aggressively. Her quiet voice driving him a bit crazy, as he glanced at her with slightly more hot eyes, but he nodded okay regardless.

Remembering his money, He put it in his pocket for the moment.

He looked over to where she was pointing, beyond a few other stores to what appeared to be a good shop for finding practical clothing, he could tell even at a glance that it was just right for him. With ria's hand tightly in his warm grasp, he pulled her towards the shop called Resilient Vagrant - opened the door and went inside. Within was clothing that was extremely well-made and enchanted with various magics, much of it was for sport use but he also noticed some military like apparel, and even a section for normal clothing. The shop was awazing, and if it sold weapons it would be perfect.

He started sorting through a rack of tough designed black pants made to handle a high abuse, each one appeared to be only one size, but he didn't realize it would change to match him once he put it on; Always a perfect fit.

As he looked he didn't understand the prices yet again, and took out his money and pointed to the price... not knowing how much he would need to purchase them. He would probably need at least three pairs, he thought.

The look Ain sent towards Ria almost convinced her to leave the shopping for later and continue what they started. But that wasn't exactly possible, or at least proper, in the middle of a street. She and Ain were both reasonable adults, Ain even more so than Ria, so they should, would, be able to stay off each other. For now at least. Ain kept a tight hold of Ria's hand, and Ria briefly thought of that hand on her hip the first time they had kissed. Ria sighed a bit to herself as she and Ain made their way to the shop, she needed to get herself and her thoughts together. When they stepped into the store itself Ria let Ain's hand go, though reluctantly, so he could browse the clothing. Almost all Ria's clothes were from this store, she had met the owner before and heard from her why the store's name was so...peculiar.

Ria followed after Ain as he started browsing a rack of pants. Ria owned a pair of those same pants, and she walked over next to Ain when he dug his money out and pointed at the price tag. Ria checked the price tag, the cost had been lowered since the last time she was here. Then they had been 45 dollars, now they were 30. Ria carefully took one 100 dollar bill and showed it to Ain.
"This bill is worth 100 dollars, which is a quite large sum of money. And one pair of these trousers costs 30 dollars. I think that's a good price, since these pants are magical and adjust to you size once you put them on."
