Ain walked through the streets when a police officer started to approach him and he thought for sure that he would be arrested based on what Zoraida said to him, but the police officer paid him no mind and continued on his way without any regard for him at all. Was the police really after him, at this point he wasn't really sure, maybe they didn't know what he looked like or was it possible they didn't know anything about him. He continued on his way for a bit as he noticed a clock on a building, he didn't recognize the numbers but the clock hands pointed in a familiar way, it was 11AM.
Lucky for him that the clocks were pretty much the same in design and had the same amount of numbers.
He managed to find a pawn shop, and though it took him a little while to know how it worked before he walked in; it was remarkably similar to how the market worked in his world. It was difficult process without saying anything, and his fear aura was causing unnecessary tensions but seemingly due to the fear effect he may have actually got more then he should have as they were too scared to give him a bad deal. He just went along with it and received a good portion of US Dollars - though he had no idea what the United States even was or why Manta Carlos used that currency.
Exiting out into the streets he was holding a large bundle of bills in plain view of everyone passing him, not knowing that he was holding about Two Thousand Dollars($2000) in twenty one-hundred dollar bills. The value of the paper money really meant nothing to him, he was soo used to gold coins, but he supposed that he would get used to it in time.
After a while he checked the clock again, it was now 1PM, he had not eaten lunch yet but for now he just wanted to find a store that sold clothes. He approached a shopping plaza that appeared to have many different businesses and even some outside carts, one of the outside carts had some shirts and pants on display, he didn't realize it but all of them were of cheap make and looked terrible with no style at all.
Walking up to the cart, he didn't even remember that he still had the money in hand, the cart owner - a large red haired man quickly took notice of what he perceived as a easy mark. "Good day, my friend, are you interested in some of my clothing," the red haired man quickly took stock of the fact that Ain was not talking back and the confused look as he tried to read the prices. When Ain picked up one of the shirts the man piped in and attempted to trick Ain who was carrying money out in the open. "It seems that shirt would be about this much... Good thing it is on sale."
The red haired man gestured to the two thousand dollars in hand, Ain not knowing any better was still thrown a bit off by this. 'Does clothes really cost that much!?' he thought as he started to hand the money over to the red haired man and the man smiled as he was about to take it...
